Carried daily for over 3 years. Not a hitch. Holds up to weekly range time and active shooter training. Very acceptable battery life. Run it in light and laser mode 100 % of the time. CROSSBREED is my OWB choice. Fits perfect and never dislodges even rolling around in the dirt. Light and laser in one package frees up your other hand for whatever your other hand may be needed do like comb your hair or pick your nose.

For me it works great, I wear a size 9 men’s glove. I too have to use an extended grip to feel comfortable in my grip on a G42. The LL-803G adds no real perceptible nose heaviness to the firearm. It stays zeroed thru a couple of boxes of ammunition. It is bright enough to clear a normal sized bedroom or living room. I appreciate that the light can be momentarily on/off with more/less middle finger pressure so you can look/move. I feel bad for not giving it 5 stars, but the dearth of holster choices limits its utility, especially if you prefer left handed or OWB. If extreme compactness (although the LL-803G kinda makes the firearm print less like a firearm especially with a non-extended mag, since it makes it print in less of an “L” shape) or more holster availability is really valuable to you you might skip the pro version, get just a laser and carry a separate light.

What I would expect from CT, a solid piece of equipment. I haven't had it long enough to provide particular insight into the model itself other than it functions exactly as intended and, like many of my other CT products, serves the purpose I need it to without "working around" any aspects of the tool. That being said, one thing that I would be interested to see in the future is the ability for the master on/off to toggle a temporary light as opposed to entirely disabling the unit. Said another why, CT engineers, would it be possible to design this laser with the functionality of a regular flashlight that is activated when depressing the current mode-toggle switch? The instinctive placement of the grip button is spot on (for me), however I would really like the ability to have some autonomy over when I activated the flashlight. That's the only thing this is missing. However, as the model never represented that this would be a function, 5/5. With that added functionality, 10/5.

Laser and light are incredible powerful and bright. Wonderful addition to my Glock 42 as my off-duty carry. Will definitely be an asset at night.

The concept is sound, and for those that appreciate the philosophy behind it, the LL-803 series for Glock is one of the best "umbrella insurance policies" for both new and experienced shooters who need to quickly identify and engage with a threat, should the time ever come. Where I hesitate is in the placement of its instinctive activation button, which rests vertically beneath the trigger guard against the pistol grip. My hands are on the bigger side, but I'm by-no-means a ham-handed dude. Still, I find that it requires the shooter (me) to unnaturally modify my grip in order to accommodate the way this one spot protrudes out from the rest of the pistol's grip. And it's this one spot that tends to grind into middle finger, which can range from a nuisance to a downright pain during regular bouts of shooting. With already limited real estate on the grip (and considering that I already need to utilize the extended grip to try and get a decent purchase on the pistol), what may seem like a small thing on paper feels a lot larger in practice. Overall, I thoroughly appreciate how it blends in to the aesthetic of the firearm, and really admire the attention to detail that CTC put into this product. I work around this inconvenience and would still recommend it for smaller-handed shooters and to women. I only wish that they'd been able to adopt the activation system seen on the LL-803's big brother, the LL-807, in which case this product would have likely been a slam dunk for me.
