Been using these developing chemicals for a few years. Never had an issue that wasn?t my own fault. Good and reliable! Would recommend since they?re very simple to use.

I was always nervous about trying color film. After trying this out I find I like developing color better than black and white. Very easy to use.

The kit is easy enough to use, the hard part is the temperatures needed to do it. I'd recommend getting a sous vide heater if you're going to be using this and doing color development. Once you get used to keeping all your chem bottles in a temperature controlled water bath, the development process is the same or easier than B&W developing. But for the first few rolls I did I forgot to change the development times for how many times the chemicals were reused. This kit can do 24 rolls, but you have to increase the time by 2% for each roll that has been run through it. Be sure to read the included instructions. It's all in there and easy to follow, just make sure you do follow it and you'll have great color negatives.

The chemicals hold up very well against the normal 4 step process. Potentially a slight green/magenta shift, but nothing that can't be corrected by any means. We'll likely use this product a lot more for other features in our lab in the future.

I love this product, it is so easy to use! Just mix and go. I like to save up 12-15 rolls and just work for an afternoon to get them all done. Very consistent results,

Super easy to use and have had great results, holds up well for awhile before it starts to deteriorate. Can get more than the recommended life out of it as long as you are careful and keep things clean.

I used to get the powder kit and would have to mix all the powder and divvy it up on two 500ml tanks (I only have a 500ml Patterson). This is way easier to scale down and chemicals stay fresher longer.

I have never developed color negatives before, but this kit, combined with a Patterson 2-reel tank worked like a charm? and on 20+ year old negative films. While this will likely be the first and only time I do this, I?d highly recommend this kit.

Everything you need to develop 8 or 10 rolls of film, and much cheaper than sending it off to a lab.

The liquids were exactly what I needed. I already had a kit ready and just needed the 3 liquids: developer / blix / toner. and thankfully it came with custom instructions designed for these mixes.

Great costumer service during my waiting for this item on back order, made it easy for me to switch from an order of 1 to 2! The item came quickly once shipped- one of the items boxes was poor quality but the items inside it were in fine condition!

So much fun & easy. Recently got back into B&W home negative processing, had always been afraid to try color, but this kit makes it so easy. Already used it 3 times & hope to have many more uses left, fun & way cheaper than sending out for c41 to a lab at 9-15$ per roll.

I bought this because I had a bunch of rolls of color film, including some that came with a camera I bought online. I was a little worried that the mystery film might contain embarrassing images (it didn't), so I got this kit so I could have a look at the images before printing them. Also, it was way cheaper to develop them this way than taking them to a lab. Now on to the actual process. This is easily as simple as developing black and white film. Indeed, probably easier. Mix up the chemicals by following the instructions (which are wonderfully written, BTW), and develop away! Color chemicals need to be used at higher temperatures than B&W, and I think it's easier to keep them there, at about 110 degrees, than B&W chemistry which has to be at 68. My tap water comes out at 125, so getting them up to temp I find easier. My cold water doesn't always go down to 68. My only word of warning would be to wear gloves and old clothes, or an apron. The blix is brutal on staining.

I?ve ordered these chemicals a few times and they work great for C-41 processing. If you are careful not to cross-contaminate they will last a long time.

Perfect kit for first time film developers!
By RAFAY Z.
Digital photographer for 12years, first time developing film and I was so anxious. Used this with the Patterson dark room and it worked better than I thought. Just make sure you have some 1L containers handy to mix the chemicals in. You’ll need 3 total. The instructions are really easy to follow, it comes with 6 bottles, mix the A bottles, mix the B bottles, mix the C bottles, add designated water to each container. And that’s it! It comes with a handy card that tells you timings for dev...

First time developing C-41
By BRIDGET M.
I’ve only developed b&w film prior to purchasing this C-41 kit, so I was a bit nervous. But, it was much simpler than I anticipated! Buying liquid chemicals makes the mixing so much easier. Only thing I was mainly concerned about was getting the chemicals to the right temp. I purchased a sous vide and used it to make a hot water bath for my mixed chemicals and it worked like a charm. I will definitely be purchasing this kit again, highly recommend.
