I just want to say, this keyboard is definitely a step up from the original k95. The Cherry mx silver keys feel so much better and don't pop off from aggressive hits like the browns did on my last board. As for Corsair's iCue software, it's a bit of a learning curve to get used to and many people, including myself have had issues when updating the keyboard firmware directly through the software. Luckily, if your update is interrupted (common issue) the fix is pretty straightforward as they added a reset pin to the bottom of the board that opens its internal storage. I highly recommend looking into this and backing up the original firmware on the board before trying to update through iCue. That said, the effects and transitions you can create on this bad boy are beautiful. If you like a solid mechanical board with a great feel and you absolutely love RGB lighting, no other board compares. Additionally you can customize many of the buttons and keys to perform macros if that's your thing.
