About Casio PX-560

Before you is the Privia Pro PX-560 Digital Stage Piano, a unique and innovative instrument that stands out with its distinctive blue casing. This portable 88-key digital piano is packed with Casio's advanced sonic technology, delivering an unparalleled sound quality that matches its striking aesthetics. Designed for the discerning pianist seeking to explore new musical depths, the PX-560 offers a comprehensive suite of features that will elevate your musical journey.

The heart of the PX-560 is Casio's innovative Color Touch Interface, featuring a bright, 5.3" display that is both clear and user-friendly. This interactive interface presents familiar graphics to guide you in selecting instruments and functions, making the exploration of the PX-560's capabilities both enjoyable and straightforward. This encourages musical experimentation, fostering creativity and the discovery of new sounds and musical techniques.

The PX-560 is equipped with Casio's acclaimed Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action II keyboard, meticulously designed to replicate the touch and response of a concert grand piano. Despite the PX-560's lightweight design, the keys mimic the heavier touch in the lower register and lighter touch in the upper register of a real concert grand. The ebony and ivory textured keys not only enhance the realistic feel but also provide a positive grip for precise playing.

The PX-560's piano sound is as rewarding as the keys themselves, thanks to Casio's Multi-Dimensional AiR (Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator) Sound Source. This technology delivers some of the most authentic piano sounds, with Linear Morphing technology ensuring smooth transitions between soft and loud sounds. The Damper Resonance, String Resonance, Hammer Response, and Key Off Simulation features work together to recreate the intricate details of playing a 9-foot concert grand piano, all while supporting a massive 256 notes of polyphony.

Beyond being a highly capable stage piano, the PX-560 is also a full-fledged synthesizer. It features Casio's Hex Layer technology, allowing you to create extensive splits and layers with up to four zones and 14 layers simultaneously. The PX-560 offers three real-time control knobs and a modulation wheel, all of which can control up to two assignable parameters at once, making it a sonic playground as well as a performance instrument.

The PX-560 transcends the traditional stage piano with its 550 Tones, covering a vast range of musical instruments and genres. It also includes 220 onboard Rhythms that follow your playing, creating a backing band in your chosen style. You can even create 30 customized User Rhythms and 100 of your own Music Presets, which include a Rhythm, Tones, effects, and built-in chord progressions.

Designed for performance, the PX-560 is lightweight (just over 26 pounds) and offers excellent connectivity with its 1/4" outputs and inputs. It fits neatly into Casio's optional CS-67P wooden stand and can be paired with the optional SP-33 3-pedal unit for a realistic piano performance experience. The built-in speaker system is powerful enough for home entertainment, and the 1/8" stereo audio input allows it to double as a high-quality music dock.

The PX-560 also serves as a built-in studio, offering a 17-track MIDI recorder with editing features and a USB audio recorder that creates an audio file directly onto a USB stick. This allows you to capture your musical creations and share them with the world. The PX-560 also includes features beneficial for private lessons and music labs, such as Duet mode, Classroom mode, and two front panel-mounted headphone jacks.

Like all Privias, the PX-560 features a class-compliant USB port, allowing easy connection to a PC, Mac, or iOS device without the need for drivers. This makes controlling your favorite music software a breeze, without any extra setup. The PX-560 Privia 88-Key Portable Digital Stage Piano is more than just an instrument; it's a gateway to new musical possibilities.
