The CAME-8000 3-Axis Camera Gimbal from CAME-TV is a handheld stabilizer designed for camera systems weighing up to 11 pounds, making it suitable for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, as well as larger cameras such as the Blackmagic Cinema Camera and RED EPIC. It utilizes three motors that stabilize the camera along the pan, tilt and roll axes. This compensates for shakes, vibrations and other unwanted movements, allowing you to capture smooth, free-floating shots. The stabilizer features two side handles for handheld use and a top handle for low-angle shots or simply transporting the assembled stabilizer on set. A 17mm opening at the bottom of each side handle also enables the CAME-8000 to be mounted on an optional vest and arm stabilizer system.

For increased creative possibilities, the CAME-8000 offers multiple operation modes. You can choose to lock the camera in place along all three axes or have the camera smoothly follow your pan and tilt motions while keeping the horizon level. There is also a Commixture Mode, which locks the tilt axis while allowing the camera to follow left and right panning movements. Modes can be easily switched using a joystick, which can also be used to adjust camera pan and tilt position.

The CAME-8000 features an all-metal construction and has a clean design that hides the battery and all wires. As with sled-style stabilizers, your camera needs to be properly balanced in order to get the best performance. The camera platform features a quick-release plate and incorporates a 15mm rod clamp, letting you add optional rods to support accessories such as a matte box or gear motor from a wireless follow focus system. A camera cage provides extra protection for your camera and adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on top for mounting additional accessories . There are also 1/4"-20 threads on top of the side handle arms, useful for mounting an external monitor.

Included with the CAME-8000 are a 2200mAh lithium-polymer battery, a battery charger and a stand for supporting the stabilizer while balancing or when not in use. A hard case is also included for safely storing and transporting the system.
