An all-inclusive solution for superior auditory assistance, the Comtek AT-216 Wireless Auditory Assistance Kit, featuring a Plug-In Smart-Mic, delivers unparalleled sound clarity, whether you're at home, work, or on the move. Engineered with advanced internal audio processing, this kit emphasizes speech-defining frequencies, ensuring the highest fidelity achievable from a personal FM system.
The AT-216 kit is designed with unique features and accessories, enabling effective communication in challenging listening environments. FM systems like this one are renowned for enhancing signal-to-noise ratios, overcoming obstacles such as distance, background noise, and reverberations, and significantly improving the performance of hearing aids and cochlear processors.
The kit includes the M-216 Transmitter, PR-216 Receiver with Plug-In Smart-Mic, CM-183 RT, and M-4020P Microphone, offering a comprehensive auditory solution. The NTC-102 neckloop provides a seamless wireless connection to hearing aids and cochlear processors equipped with a telecoil (T-switch).
One of the standout features of the AT-216 is its unique environmental microphone, which allows the listener to hear sounds from two sources: the M-216 transmitter and the PR-216 receiver's environmental microphone. The smart-mic technology prioritizes the transmitter's audio over environmental sounds, automatically activating the receiver's microphone when no sound from the transmitter is present, and muting it to block out background noise when the transmitter is in use.
The PR-216 receiver's micro-mini jack is compatible with the M-4020P plug-in environmental microphone for the smart-mic, and can also be used with other accessories like handheld directional microphones and clip-on speech training microphones.
The M-216 transmitter and PR-216 receiver are both designed with the latest digital and analog technologies, ensuring low residual noise, wide dynamic range, and extended frequency response for the most natural sound possible. The PR-216 receiver is also perfect for use as a "piggyback" receiver on powered speakers for remote speaker linkups and for field "point-to-point" RF links.
The AT-216 Wireless Auditory Assistance Kit also includes the TM-10 Conference Table Microphone Adapter and the HH-185 Handheld Microphone Boom, adding versatility and functionality to your listening experience. The TM-10 adapter transforms the lapel microphone into a table-top conference microphone, while the HH-185 boom allows the standard M-216 microphone transmitter to be used as a handheld wireless microphone.
In summary, the Comtek AT-216 Wireless Auditory Assistance Kit is a durable, high-quality, innovative, portable, and user-friendly solution for all your auditory needs.
