I was actually surprized with the lights. Lightweight and pack enough light for interviews and tight lighting setups. I too find the case really nice, but somewhat useless, but for storage. I liked the fact you could "zoom" the lights. Really only drawback is they are really hard on batteries, even withe big ones, don't expect a lot of time even at 50% brightness. Adorama stocked the 2-light kit and and shipped within 2 days.

These lights are surprisingly good for the money. Outputs a decent amount of lumens for its size and quality feels just ok, not too plastic (except for the yoke and baby receiver pin knobs) not too heavy either. The fresnel lens on these really help spread the beam and the barndoors are good but not as sharp/defined to shape the light like other more expensive fixtures. Flood and spot difference its NOT too big, noticiable but not quite good. It comes with a case that its just too small for everything that it contains. You receive it nicely packed, but when you use the cables and the fixtures and intend to put it back in the case, you either coil all cables as compact and tight as possible (which is bad for the cables) or you crank the case down (which its also bad and takes you time on-set or at work). The cto filters are half cto so you have to use BOTH on the fixture to go to tungsten, without leaving you a chance to put your second fixture at tungsten temp too. The battery power option is great. The only worst part of it (probably manufacture error) is that one of my power to d tap cables stopped working after ONLY one day on-set, it never fell or nothing, it just stopped working. Overall this is a great kit for quick set ups, interviews and maybe some medium shot scenes. Will try to claim the power cable error to came-tv, but I am not expecting good service.

Adorama service is on point! The lights were fantastic, able to do what I need them for. If you do decide to attach a bowers mount, careful with the weight, it's not meant for mid to heavy load
