Do not recommend purchasing this monitor, they do not actually have it in stock despite what the estimated shipping time says. It was placed on backorder two different times and the expected delivery date keeps getting pushed out. LG don't sell products you cannot deliver as advertised on your estimated delivery date.

These were on sale for a great price, and I needed to upgrade my 12 year old 24" monitors. They're only 1920 x 1080, but that's fine with me because I just needed larger text and more room. The only negative is that there is a 1/4" black area around the edges, and I don't see any way to adjust that.

I bought this monitor 2 weeks ago online through the LG website. The monitor itself is great and has good resolution for the work that I need to do, which is research related. However, the monitor arrived with a yellow pixelated line. I have now spent 3 hours trying to get it fixed. Initially I was on hold for 40 minutes and had to hang up. I then went through the chat and was asked to send the monitor back for repair. However the monitor arrived on a rainy day so the box was wet and I could not send it back. LG appropriately sent me another box but the box was too small for the monitor. I had to call again to troubleshoot, and they agreed to pay for a box and reimburse, but this whole process has now taken multiple hours of work and I still don't have my monitor. Other companies have much better return and/or refund policies. I would be aware of the customer service challenges if there is something wrong with your order.

I ended up buying this monitor when I had an older LG monitor die. Admittedly this was the only real choice that I could buy and pick up during the timeframe that I needed a new monitor. That said, it has worked out well for me. While it doesn't have display ports or the high end refresh rates, I've had no complaints since I've been using it. The colors are crisp. My only potential gripe is more at the industry lack of standards than anything. It would be nice if the wall mounting brackets between different monitors were consistently the same height from the monitor's edge. I would recommend trying to get multiple of the same monitor if you need to using a fixed arm multi-monitor stand.

I am simply awestruck by the dimension, resolution color, and capabilities of my new LG monitor. The colors are just so vivid it goes beyond regular HD. The refresh rate is standing even when I'm doing flight simulator it's seamless it flows like water. The curvature of the screen makes you immersed into the scenario whatever you're doing work or play I can't believe I went years without this type of monitor, and to have landed. An LG monitor with this capability is humbling and greatly appreciated.
