Great Newscutter Keyboard
We've got 15 Newscutters in our facility. I upgraded several of the keyboards to this, Logickeyboard a couple of months ago. The users loved it so much that I purchased more to upgrade the rest of the Newscutters. The build quality is great. The key action is crisp and strong and having USB ports on the keyboard makes it great for keeping cable clutter to a minimum. I can't think of any negatives, other than price. It is expensive, but I think it's well worth the cost.
The custom LogicKeyboard makes controlling Avid NewsCutter a lot simpler and faster. It is ideal for post-production facilities, professional video editing houses and anyone else who requires all the custom key commands to readily accessible from a dedicated, clearly labeled, color-coded keyboard. Using this keyboard is also a great way to learn the Avid NewsCutter key commands. And since the Avid NewsCutter custom keyboard also features all the regular letter, number and symbol labeling that you will find on a conventional keyboard, it can simply be used as a substitute for it.
