Absolutely trash product, flops around and cannot be tightened. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I mounted it and put it straight back in the box and returned it. Horrible quality.

Picked up second hand and got to say for the price point extremely pleased. Easy to use and extremely lightweight. Overall Great Construction, lightweight, extremely adjustable height and cantabile nature make this a great all-around choice for hunters and sportsman alike.

When you see the name Caldwell you come to expect a certain level of quality, I used to until I bought this bipod. The "plastic" cup that sits on the ball joint cracked on first use and it would never tighten enough to be even slightly stable. The legs should be spring loaded so you can push down against tension and then tighten in position ,like every other bipod. Do the shooting community and your good name a favor and remove this from your product line.

Not sure why people are giving this a one star review. The bipod I have is great. Easy to mount on my rifles M-lok rail. I bought the 6"-9" bipod from Scheels about three years ago and besides from some wear and tear it has worked great.

I thought I may be the only one with an issue of it always having play, no matter how tight you get everything. Apparently not. It's a great looking bipod and does its job when opened, but it still moves and rattle when folded no matter how tight you get everything.

first review ive ever written on anything. i owned sling mount bipod for 2 years now. like others have said, pins worked them selves out, sling came off gun, dropped rifle on a hunt. not awesome. tried get ahold of customer service for parts or warranty, no response. fixed it myself, with roll pins and retaining compound. then my factory stud pulled out of my stock, replaced with a pic rail, thinking id be able to replace mounting style head on my bipod (from sling style, to pic rail style) and problem solved. months later, and half dozen emails and still no response. absolutely no product support, or service department. i liked the idea of this bipod, even grew to like it once i tweaked it and got used to it, but for the money there's better options out there, with product support.

I have had this for a month or 2 now. When I got it, it looked awesome. The FIRST time I used it, the stops for the legs bent after firing about 10 rounds out of a .223 ar15. Pretty embarrassing product if you ask me. Spend the extra $50 on a magpul bipod trust me.... I was able to (sort of) bend the metal back to where it's supposed to be but... you shouldn't have to...

Great materials please update the pivot ball idea love the fact it matches my bergaras carbon barrel hate the fact I cannot LOCK the pivot ball down this one's going back to bass pro I hopes they have a magpul that locks out completely

Fits nicely, wait to assemble it to your rifle until you adjust the tension on the top front Allen. Otherwise you will be pulling it right back off. It was a little loose after I put mine on, I was aggravated at first because when I put the lock on it would still move. No instructions about this I was pulling it back off when I noticed the Allen.

I bought two with different mounting types for different rifles... Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.. they don't work! ... Loose, rattles and won't tighten! no explanation, or troubleshooting info included in package. Can't find any resolve for this online either.

For not being very expensive this is a very nice bipod. It's lightweight and easy to use. The one thing that bugs me is when you unfold the legs the bipod twists all over because of the Omni-ball setup. But I wonder with time and use if that will go away mostly. Nevertheless it's definitely worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks

Bought this bipod from Cabelas yesterday and on paper it sounds awesome! Got home and mounted it to the .308 AR10 I have. It?s poorly assembled, missing washers, rattles, wobbles and will not tighten.

This wobbles and there does not seem to be a way to fix it unless you tear it apart (and avoid any warranty) Has there been a recall or fix top this issue?

Great bipod, light weight, attachment to sling stud is very good and solid. Only draw back, which is a big one, is the tilt lever is loose so the whole bipod is loose on the rifle, can't tighten it up. Very poor design for the tilt funtion. Would give it 5 stars if that was fixed.

I see what they were going for with a bipod thats adjustable to your current position? which sounds great, but Ive spent more time trying to get set up than actually shooting. Its the difference of what works on paper versus reality here. Aside from being useless it has really nice machined pieces and it looks cool

The bipod seems to work ok. My only problem so far is no basic directions. I went on the website but found none here. It took me some time to get this device on my rifle. It is on and appears to function ok. I haven't had this at the range yet so I would like to have the opportunity to upgrade my review if it warrants it.

Stable foundation, mounts easy. Not as heavy as I thought it was going to be, adding just enough weight to help with the minimal recoil of a 5.56/.223.

Overall like the weight and length of the bipod. The twist motion to extend the legs worked well. Fits tight to the hand guard of my Remington 700 BDL. Reason for 3 stars is because of only being able to tighten the "action" to moderate friction but not completely tight? too much play.

Love the look, weight, and design of this bipod. however it doesn't actually lock into place causing the legs to bounce in any direction. I have tried fixing this by taking the lever off and retightening it but it still is not a solid lock. Product has great potential if it worked properly. I did eventually find a use for this by JB welding the turret in place using a level and removing the lever.

I bought one at turners store in california for my lwrc ar15 easy install.. light weight. They are shorter in length then the magpul bipod.. it has a nice look on my ar15 .still haven't gone to the rage yet ..
