I've had this loader for several years now and have discovered that while it works great on some mags, it doesn't work at all or only intermittently on most of my other mags. If I had known how it's capabilities would not keep up with the times, I would've just bought a plastic one-off for each firearm. Dissatisfied

Bought this thinking it would work well for mee on single and double stack mags, sadly I thought wrong. Do youself a favor and buy an uplula universal double stack for those and another from them for singles. this caldwell is money b etter put towards uplula's or even a butler creek, which actually works better. Really disappointed with this loader especially with single stack 1911 .45 mags.

I am missing a lot of Cartlidge between the bones in my hands. It hurts really bad when loading a magazine. This thing is a life saver, so simple to use my 9 year old daughter is loading mags for me. It is not a speed loader but it will sure save a lot of pain and time for me loading mags.

I've been using this for a few months now on 9mm double stack and .45 single. It took a little practice, but well worth it. I previously used the basic pushdown loaders and had a couple break. It's important to use as directed. When adjusting the width to fit different mags, make sure to use the same number setting on both sides to center the feed. 3 on one side and 4 on the other may fit perfectly, but it will not load right. The back screw stabilizes the mag in place and it works just as advertised. The only drawback is the size. It's bulky but with the space it takes up in your range bag. I'm getting this loader for a few people this Christmas!

I got this some time ago and have to say it works. I have a few double stake mags and never have any trouble loading them. My very old fingers love it.

I have only tried it on my MC P35 magazines, but it works great. It makes easy work of loading magazines especially if you have arthritis in the hands and wrists.

It is amazing device, could not believe how easy it was to load a magazine using this device. It took me less then half the time to fill a magazine and the last round was as easy as the 1st round. I liked it so well I ordered one for my uncle, who has trouble loading, until he tried the Pistol loader.

This loader is the best thing to come along. It works great on all my mags. (380 single stack, 9mm single and double stack, and 45ACP double stack. Takes a little time to get use to it but once you learn the tricks of the trade, it does a great job.

I had high hopes this product. Disappointed to say the least. Once you found the correct size it wouldn't load the rounds consistently. Just a bad design. Might work well on some magazines but I don't own any of them. Usually I am more satisfied with Caldwell products. Best Regards.

I first purchase the Mag Charger 2 years ago and using several other loaders. Everyone who has seen this baby action thinks it's great and has purchased one also. I lost mine recently at a USPSA match and was loading the old fashion way with a stock Beretta magazine loader. I promptly went home and ordered two, so that I will never be with one again in the event of loss.

When it works, it works great, but it doesn't always work for some reason. It will load some bullets very easily and then all of a sudden it won't load a bullet no matter how hard you squeeze the handle.

Works simply as designed, quick and efficient! The first round into the mag is tedious, the balance is fluent.

I have had 0 problems with it so far. Glock 17 mags, HI point and 1911 mags. Don't know why folks are having issues. I'm guessing people aren't final crimping their reloads?

I purchased this reloader for both my 45acp and my 9mm both Springfield Armory sidearms. Unlike this other gentleman that complained about it pushes the bullet into the shell after contiounly loading the same round over and over again, Hello!! Your supposed to fire the weapon after you load the mag. Anyways, this is one of the best loaders I've owned, simple quick and easy. I honestly don't see why all of these nay sayers are having such a difficult time

I was really excited about this multi mag loader. I'm not excited any more. Pushes the bullet in to the cartridge. I am loading factory new 9mm in to a Glock magazine.

The reality is, it's a nice idea but changes the COAL (cartridge overall length). I shoot a 1911 (not a cheap one), 45ACP. It's been a reliable shooter with no feed problems. I used Caldwell and suddenly I started having problems. I loaded about 250 rounds, no change in ammunition, and started having a high percentage of malfunctions due to failure to feed. I discovered when the "pusher" forces the cartridge into the magazine, it compresses the bullet into the brass changing the COAL. The change in COAL caused feed problems making the weapon unreliable and may cause pressure problems if you are shooting "hot" rounds.

I can't get it to work on Glock Double Stack 9mm no matter what settings or how tight. Simply will not work period the end. Totally useless!

Does great with 9mm but having trouble with 10mm will load one then start jamming in mag and damaging the bottom of bullet

Purchased this at the end of last year for Hellcat magazines; It does not work with these, unfortunately. For the magazines that it does play nice with, the Mag Charger is a pleasure to use.

Easy to use and faster then the LULA it takes me 30 sec to load a 15 rd mag. Unlike the LULA where the last few rounds are hard to add, this flies through the process as the first is just as easy as the last. I have checked my reloads and found no marks or changes in length. Find the numbers that right for your mags (on your own) and make sure you lack it in and it will work great. Example on numbers would be, my walther PPQ mags are a 4 and 4

I have a Sig 365XL. The magazines for the gun are virtually impossible to load using the thumb method. However, using this loader was a hit-and-miss endeavor; sometimes they could be fully loaded, while other times I couldn’t get past the fourth round. I finally bought another loader which works all the time. The Caldwell may work with mags for other guns, but I haven’t tried that. I also have a Caldwell loader for my AR. The first 20 load easily: the last 10 go in with more effort. Then again, it is a thumb saver.

Great Loader

I got one free with a holster purchase. Took a few minutes to get use to it, read and follow the direction and it becomes very fast and easy. It became my favorite speed loader and if a cluts like me can master it, anyone can. I'm 66 years old. Just bought 2 more for my friends who loved mine.
The Caldwell Mag Charger Universal Pistol Loader is designed to work with almost all pistol magazines. This magazine loader is simple to use, just drop in a round and squeeze the lever. The adjustable side shims align magazines of any width for optimal use, and are labeled with numbers for quick adjustment. The lock knob keeps virtually any size magazine secure.
