Finallly an AR10 brass catcher
Love how it stays fit on the ar 10. You can tighten the velcro tight enough that it does not move around. I love how it opens away from the rifle so you can get the brass out. I use it for coyote hunting off a tripod.
Here's the problem...
The weld that holds the frame to the hinge is not good enough. Mine snapped with very little use. The two tiny welds are the size of pencil leads. I would say that would be fine if it didn't spring open the way it does. If caldwell can fix that you will have the oppurtunity to have a perfect little brass catcher for the AR10. It fits perfect for that. I use thermal so a normal brass catcher will not work. This one works great with the one little flaw. It's big but easily fixed.
