The Cowon M2 32GB HD Media Black Player features a 2.8" LCD touch screen and up to 90 hours of battery life. The 32GB of internal flash memory can be expanded by up to an additional 32GB with a micro-SD card. The M2 comes with JetEffect 5, a comprehensive suite of audio enhancements, reverb effects and equalizer settings. To more faithfully reproduce sound, it also includes a BBE+ circuit, which compensates for phase delay and prevents extreme high and low frequencies from being washed out. The user interface is fully customizable, allowing you to set up your M2 to meet your specific needs. The M2 displays videos and photos as well as text files, enabling a full multimedia experience. A Built-In Speaker allows you to listen with friends, a microphone enables recording voice and music and the FM radio lets you stay up-to-date with news and music around the world. The M2 charges and transfers data via the included USB cable.

Music and Sound Enhancement

JetEffect 5
The M2 features Cowon's JetEffect 5 suite of sound enhancement technologies. JetEffect 5 offers nine types of reverb modes and 48 presets.

BBE+ Circuit
All music played through speakers or headphones suffers from subtle distortions caused by the inherent characteristics of the loudspeaker itself. The BB+ circuit addresses these problems by compensating for phase and amplitude distortions. It achieves this by adjusting the phase relationships between low, mid and high frequencies. It also boosts the extreme high and low frequencies, which tend to pose problems for loudspeakers and headphones. This augmentation, when combined with phase compensation, results in a clearer, more true-to-life sound.

The M2 supports LDB 1.0, LDB 2.0 and LRC.

90-Hour Battery Life
The lithium-polymer rechargeable battery offers up to 90 continuous hours of music playback.

Extend your media storage capabilities with the M2's micro-SD slot, which can handle micro-SD cards up to 32GB in capacity.

FM Radio
The Cowon M2's 76-108 MHz FM radio bands allow you to listen to the radio anywhere in the world, including China, Europe, Japan and the U.S. The M2 also supports radio recording for capturing important broadcasts while on the go.

Daily Life UI
The Cowon M2's user interface changes automatically as time passes throughout the day. You can also choose the UI style of a specific time or a simple digital clock to display the time. Swiping the display vertically brings up four different menu screens.

User Created Interface
The UI is fully customizable, allowing you to put the features that matter most at your fingertips.

Matrix Browser
Touch the Matrix Browser icon to see album art from 10 albums at once. Scroll sideways to view more and touch any album for immediate playback.

Multimedia Management
Use the browser to search for files by artist, album or folder. You can group your media into folders on the go, allowing you to organize TV shows, albums and more.

Rotation
Touch the Rotation icon to flip your screen 180deg..

Turntable Album Art
M2's user interface offers rotating album art that mimics the look of a traditional turntable.

Video, Photo and Text Features

Video Playback
The M2 supports AVI, WMV and ASF video files in Xvid SP/ASP and WMV 7/8/9 codecs as well as SMI subtitles.

Video Clip Preview
Touch the eye-shaped icon on the upper left-hand side of the screen while watching a video to scan through up to 15 scenes. Video Clip Preview enables you to choose a video you want to watch through easy browsing.

Photo Viewing
Save, share and view your favorite pictures with the 16 million color display. The M2 also functions as a digital photo frame, so you can create your own slideshow.

Document Viewer with Auto Scroll
Read e-books, articles and notes by using Text Viewer. Auto Scroll keeps the text moving for you, so you don't have to manually scroll through your document as you read.

Bookmarks and Favorites
Use a bookmark to mark a point where you want to return to later in your music and videos. Favorites enable you to organize and access the music, videos or e-books you like the most.

M2 offers a convenient QWERTY keyboard for easy typing.
