The CyberPower BP48VP2U04 is a rack/tower convertible Extended Battery Module (EBM) that extends battery runtimes during power outages and is designed for the following Smart App Sinewave UPS systems: PR5000RTXL2UC, PR5000RTXL4UC.

This EBM takes 2U of rack space and can be installed in either a rack or tower configuration to match the UPS form factor. Battery equalization technology improves battery life, and toolless battery panel access makes battery replacement fast and simple.

Battery Equalization is an advanced charging process that maintains the voltages of the batteries at the same level to increase battery life.

Fast Charge Technology
Allows UPS batteries to return to full capacity more rapidly by using a built-in charger inside of each UPS or EBM.

Toolless Battery Panel Access
Makes battery replacement fast and simple. The faceplate features side latches for easy removal, and captive screws can be loosened by hand to open the battery cover.

Hot-Swappable Batteries
Eliminates power-related downtime and ensures maximum power availability. All potential UPS maintenance, including complete power module exchange, can be performed without powering down connected equipment.

Rack/Tower Configuration
Allows for horizontal rack or vertical tower installation.
