About Century Optics .6x Wide Angle Adaptr Lens, 65mm

The .6x Wide Angle Adapter is ideal for establishing shots, interviews in cramped spaces - any situation in which full zooming isn't needed. Compact and lightweight (just 7 oz.), the .6x offers a 40% wider angle of view with little distortion.

Though technically a fixed focal length adapter, the .6x for the 16x lens accomodates zooming over the wide half of the range, resulting in a focal length of 3.3-26mm and a horizontal angle of view of 72°-10.33.°

The .6x Wide Angle Adapter also comes in a version for Canon's 3x Wide zoom. A true fixed-focal length adapter, adding it to the 3.4-10.2mm lens reduces the effective focal length to just 2.04mm (99° horizontal angle of view).
