About Century Optics .7X Wide Angle Conversion Lens f/Canon XL-2 with the 20:1 Zoom

Century's .7x Wide Angle Converter attaches quickly to the front of your XL2's 20:1 zoom, offering a 30% wider angle of view and full zoom-thru capabilities. The .7x shifts the focal length range from 5.4-108mm to 3.78-75.6mm - with no appreciable light loss.

Canon's 3x lens is compact and useful, but imagine switching those delicate electronic lenses quickly on a wet day at the beach. The .7x Wide Converter slips onto the front of the 20x zoom with a one-handed twist, instead. Yet it results in an effective focal length nearly as wide as the 3x (within half a millemeter) and zooms six times as far.
