Questions & Answers

Shopper : Does this work for a Mamiya 16 camera?BRUCE W : No, you will need 16mm film spooled for a subminiature camera. Sometimes called spy cameras. Like all things analogue I have seen a little more online sources discuss this fun format and I think you can find vendors for film. Several companies produced these cameras, Minolta, Rollei, Yashica, Minox, et al.Chris O : You would need to slit the film to 16 mm size and then put it into the cartridge that the camera uses. There are resources for slitfilm and purchasing slitters as possible. I do this for my sub miniature cameras. That said once it is slit and put into a cartridge this film works very well in sub miniature cameras.John M : No. The "Mamiya 16" uses 16 mm film. Adorama might be able to order some 100 speed film in 16mm size from a secondary source, but the camera is more of a collector piece these days as they are not a common format anymore. However, with that said, there are a few vendors around for those orphan formats, but you have to search them out.John G : I am not familiar with that model. If a mamiya 16 camera takes 120 size roll film, then yes.

Wanted to give it a try for myself. The price, combined with look.STEPHEN Q : Like contrast. Decent film - low price.Angel V : Cheap film with good reviewsPAUL Y : Some interesting reviews onlineALUISIUS S : Learning to shoot film again and the price is right.MICHAEL B : This being a low ISO type film, I am hoping it has low grain and develops into sharp images. I'm new to film developing and am experimenting with the different brands and types, along with high and low ISO type films.DON G : After reading reviews; decided to give this film a try. It is an okay film, it's potential shortcomings can be worked around. Using an enlarger to print works better

It is a silm that is best to shoot the whole roll without letting it sit as the substrate plastic will "take a set" that can make it difficult to thread onto a steel reel. I gave it only 4 stars because pinhole defects in the emulsion do occur, and the substrate is not entirely transparent muddying some images. It is a film you want to bracket with just in case one of the images has a pinhole defect.

Fomapan 100 sheet film interesting to experiment with

It arrived safely with no exterior damage to either the shipping bag or to the item itself. Upon checking the item for completeness, I did find that there was no data sheet inside or on the outside of the box. This data sheet would have had information about the grain, the spectral sensitivity of the emulsion, as well as some developing information. Though the latteri can be determined via experimentation, it would be easier to have some manufacturers baseline data from which to start and to compare to. Until the above data has been determined this product will be a lot of fun to work with so as to fill in those missing baseline data which is something a lot of photographers enjoy doing.

Nice B/W Film

I've only recently given Foma films a try after reading reviews and seeing some samples. Once I got the scans back I was really impressed with the amount of contrast and the relatively low grain. Definitely will be keeping some rolls of this in my refrigerator.
