Cable release
I got this product for my Hasselblad 500cm. I do a lot of indoor photography (still life, portraiture), and I needed something to help with those slow shutter speeds. This works, and it it works well. Now to find a longer one for selfies.

utter trash
Lasted about 10 minutes before the whole thing fell to pieces, and I mean to pieces. Everything came apart. I hadn't bothered to unpack it until long after I bought it, but it was pretty disappointing when I did. Look elsewhere.

This broke the second time I used it. Good thing is that it was cheap. Bad thing is that it was cheap.

Seems to be a well made product.
Seems to be a well made product. Please note it is cloth covered and not metal fabric as shown in the description picture. I like the cloth better. Seems to be more flexible. I'm using the release with a custom made adapter on my Canon G7. So far so good. Local shops wanted almost 3 times as much as I paid Adorama [...] If you need a cable release get this one.

Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. Seems well made. Lock functions well, although it took me a little while to figure out how to work it.
