I bought this on a whim, because I did not want to spend a ton of money on a canon one. this product came and I tested it out and use it all the time. this is a great buy. I am a nationbally published photographer and use this sucker all the time on different types of shoots. would reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a remote device for a camera. havent tested the range of the remote yet, but within 20 ft. its flawless. have not had one problems with this at all. great buy!

I was looking for an inexpensive, but reliable radio signal shutter release device and found just what I wanted with this model. I use it for a variety of uses where I mount the camera on a tripod and can move away from the camera to photograph the subject. It works well with portrait photographs as it does with macro photography. Get out from behind the viewfinder and make eye contact with the client when shooting portraits as one on one or a group. It works well for photographing birds at a feeder. .

I bought this product with the intention of using it professionally for portrait and fashion. I tried it first when photographing my 6 month old daughter. I needed to be able to watch her without looking through the view finder and reduce the risk of shaking the camera when releasing the shutter; this remote shutter release worked so well. I researched a lot of different remote release devices and chose this one for it's simplicity, reliability and range. This device will suite any ones need for a remote release, weather you're an amateur, professional or anything in between.

Remote control is easy to set up and use. I have been using it for close-up bird photography, and also for macro flower photography to avoid camera movement. I plan to use it to take photos at events where I can place the camera in advance and take photos that I would otherwise be unable to obtain. Will soon try mounting camera on a tall pole for crowd shots. Imagination seems to be the limiting factor for use!

Easy to use. Seems to be well contructed and well designed. It's exactly what I was looking for macro, portrait and studio work.

works great for what I needed it for - remote shoting of wildlife ect in back yard. I can set up camera and wait inside for the right shot to come along - only radio controled can do this easily - no line of site needed. I also have used for night shots

Got this for Christmas so I could join in the family portraits. Worked great right out of the box. Couldn't have asked for a better product.

This Wireless RF (Radio Frequency) Shutter Release Kit enables you to release the shutter in both wireless and wired modes. The system produces a coded radio signal that works indoors, outdoors, around corners even through walls. It has an effective working range of up to 100 ft. RF Kit also provides 16 multi-coded channels, giving the photographer plenty of combinations to work with, without jamming the frequency.
To use the RF kit wireless, simply attach the receiver to the camera, then use the transmitter to trigger the shutter release.
Using the RF kit wired is easily done by attaching the receiver onto the camera, then press the shutter release button located on the receiver. The cord on the receiver is approx. 3ft in length, allowing for ample mobility for photographer positioning. In both wired and wireless modes, press the shutter release halfway to activate auto focus (Red LED indicator will come on to confirm on receiver), then press button fully to take a picture.
