This product works very well for me. It only goes on long lenses as the optic in it bumps 50mm or shorter lanses. Also for those who need to know it fits all Canon FD, FL or R camera bodies, therefore all breech bayonet, FD, FL and R lenses without the glass right at the back of the lens work just fine. Breech or bayonet is irrelevant as this referred to the lenses only and not the camera body. I do like this adapter and use it a lot with my bellows.

It is a bit hard to use - some lenses are hard to fit onto adapter!

Its the best of both worlds, film lenses + digital body. The adapter did everything I expected it to do.

I tried to use it with some really nice lenses from my old AE1 days. I kind of expected better results. Also, it's hard to attach. Needs improvement. I'd buy another version if they improve it. I don't mind the manual focus, of course, but the images just seem too soft.

LONG TERM COMITTMENT TO SALVAGE MY 85 MM FD AND MY 20 TO 35 MM FD TO NO AVAIL . IF THERE IS BETTER QUALITY IN AN ADAPTER I NEED TO KNOW . THESE LENS ARE TO EXPENSIVE TO JUST SCRAP THEM . I WOULD RATHER SOMEONE CONTACT ME WITH A BETTER QAULITY LENS IN THE ADAPTER .

I knew there was a reason not to sell off the FD lenses and this converter has made it possible to use the old FD lenses on my 60D. So all the bells and whistles don't work when an FD lens is mounted - I still remember how to compose a picture manually.

I have several FD lenses that fit nicely with this Canon FD to EOS adapter. With this attachemnt they work great. I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I was able to get very nice pictures with my Canon T3i, this adapte, and my telephoto FD Lenses. For the price you can't go wrong, and I didn't have to scrap my FD lenses, and buy new EOS lenses.

Third party FD lenses worked easily; Canon FD lenses less so. Shared it w/family members who are strapped for cash for new lenses. They seem to like.

Did not use extensivly. Had minor probles with largest F-stops. I had it on my 5 inch telescope ( makes a 1000 mm lens) with f9 stop worked well. I have 8 lenss I use. I like the ability to use my single length lens from my 24mm f2.8 to my 200mm f2.8 and 50mm Macro again. Well pleased. Matt

Was really hoping this would have good optical quality, but with any fast lens you're out of luck. Super soft and flat images with a 50mm f1.4. However, I did get nice results through a 28mm f2.8, both in terms of sharpness, contrast, and light transmission. Would not use this professionaly.

Mounted to 50 mm just as it said it would . But, could not reach focus. I'am a little dissapointed that anyone would sell such a product. Although, I believe i will research products of this nature more extensive in the future.

The adapter works perfectly on most lenses. Some focus past infinity, but it's not that difficult to get used to. I picked up some high quality FD mount lenses super cheap and it's wonderful being able to use them on an EOS camera. Is the downside not having autofocus? That will depend on the user. My most highly acclaimed photos were taken using this adapter and a stock 50mm f/1.8 from a Canon AT-1. FYI: It's much easier to switch the lens the adapter is on if you leave the adapter mounted on the camera.

Easy to use with my 6 FD lenses. I even used a x2 adaptor and the adaptor with all the lenses. Shot some video and stills of Zoo animals. Great product.

Allows the use of Canon lenses with an FD mount to be used on Canon EOS camera bodies. The lenses will meter o.k. but will only focus MANUALLY. There is a 1.3x magnification factor and requires a one stop increase in exposure. This version includes a correction glass, so it will focus to infinity.
