Once you learn this lens characteristics, and you nail the focus and framing, it's a really fun lens to play with - Especially for only $25! Absolute must for the 'fun' shots.

This was a fun lens to add to my collection. It is exactly what is is advertised as: the classic Holga toy camera lens for a DSLR.

Just had to get this; the expense very reasonable. On the D7000 set-up as a Non-CPU lens (page 159 ~ 160 of user maunal) then read info about M or A modes (page 270) so the camrea will meter. Then ... Holga fun on your DSLR.

I bought this as an experiment and it has been a lot of fun. It is odd to put a [$] lens on a $ body, but why not? You do get the Holga effect. On my D7000 it works in bulb mode only where the shutter is open as long as you hold the shutter button down, so exposure is a challenge. All that means is that you must expect to spend time in Lightroom or Photoshop to get useful images. It is more fun and engaging than the various holga effect apps on my iPhone. So I recommend it, especially because it is so inexpensive. You can't go wrong, as long as you understand what you are getting.

The Holga Lens for Nikon DSLR Camera puts that iconic low-fi Holga twist into your super-high-tech digital images. This 60mm lens provides you with Holgaesque images, with, or without, the use of filters or other lens accessories.
