It certainly works as advertised. No problems there. However, the connector isn't up to Canon standards. Flimsy, and it's difficult to remove. You'll need the Pro app. The free app isn't flexible enough for serious time lapse work. Advice for your using the phone: * set on airplane mode * turn off bluetooth and close all the other apps running to conserve battery power.
