Questions & Answers

Shopper : What does "develops in C41 chemistry" mean?DEREK N : Standard developer... any lab can do it.TIM C : C41 is the normal color film process. This means you can take this to any lab place to have it printed. For example, slide film uses the E6 process and only labs that have E6 chemistry (very few) will be able to process it.VANESSA S : C-41 Chemistry are chemicals used to develop color film in commercial places- (this chemicals can also be bought as a kit to develop the film yourself)- these chemicals are run in a machine that do the job of a human in a dark room. You can take this rolls and have them develop in any One-Hour photo place.STEFANIE R : You can have it developed in a regular photo lab, such as Walgreens or CVSKRISTINE P : C41 it's a regular photo film processing , it has to be differed because slide film is processed in different chemicals. This type of film can be processed in any place where they still do that! Hope, that helps!WILLIAM P : This is the kind of chemicals that are used to develop this film. The film is a color negative film which is then printed onto photo paper. There are other types of film such as slide (sometimes called "chrome" film after Kodak's Kodachrome) which require different chemicals and processes.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?Evan S : big color bbDavid K : I just love this film, it is the closest thing i have found to old Old Kodak VR100

Favourite high speed colour negative film

I?ve been using them for several years with point and shoot camera which has a not-much-bright lens for street snap. I like its blueish colour.

Film is great and so is Adorama.

This is exactly what I ordered. And sure, it took a long while to actually come, but in all fairness lomography (the company that produces this particular film) had sold out of it and Adorama had to wait on the supply to be restocked. It is literally and exactly what I wanted. Nothing complicated or specifically outstanding that I feel very compelled to say about it in this review I am writing up. In real life, the product looks just like the photo advertised on the site. It came a little bit squished but I'm certain it was the transportation of it that may have been the cause of it's physically appearance and nothing to do with Adorama's care in packaging their products. Adorama really brings their game when it comes to supplying folks with photos videos and electronics.

i would definitely buy this film again

I bought this film because it was cheap and didn't expect much but it turned out to be pretty good film. I used it in my first attempt to home process c-41 and scan the negatives. it is sharp with good color saturation and scans well. i would definitely buy this film again.

Nice vintage look

NOTE: My review pertains to people who use normal cameras, I don't like typical lomography with cheap plastic cameras, but hey, different strokes for different folks. HOWEVER, this film has an awesome vintage look to it when used in a real camera. It captures colors nicely, colors are vivid, definitely more vivid than your eye sees. If you have a scanner and can tone things down a bit on the computer it works well for people shots, if you're in to optical printing avoid people shots like the plague.

Good film for 100 ISO

Good only for outdoors since it's ISO 100... but it's good for the price and with the Holga, creates good old-looking photos.
