surprisingly nice and affordable film

I didn't have high expectations, considering this is a relatively cheap film, but I was positively surprised. Nice colors, a bit on the warmer side, and the look overall is really not bad for the price! One caveat, the part that goes onto the film spool first is relatively short ( to save material I guess), so it can be a bit tricky to insert, especially on a Holga. But as I learned that, I became a bit more careful and it worked a charm.

Great color film

At first, I didn’t expect too much from a lomo film, but this is very nice. Colors come out saturated but not overly so, and definitely has a warm undertone. Images are sharp. Not bad at all. I’m using it with a Rolleiflex and a Holga ( = cheap plastic film camera), and it produced great results with both.

excellent film

I got great scans using an Epson V600, with beautiful colors, excellent tonal quality and fine grain, without any photoshopping. I doubt anyone can get as good color or tonal quality from any of the CMOS cameras, even after exhaustive photoshopping. I am not able to get true analog prints from them yet, as thedarkroom.com actually scans the negatives and print the scanned images, and their scans are just not that good. I haven't compared them to Fujifilm or Kodak, but it is good enough and I am totally satisfied.

nice inexpensive film.

great film for the price. I normally use Kodak but these guys make good film as well. this has a little less saturation than portra but produces very nice images. good for onversion to black and white as well.

Okay contrast, def not Kodak BW100CN

I purchased this for comparison with Kodak BW100CN; I find that the contrast and grain are very acceptable, but not to my eyes quite the equal of Kodak. Still, I recommend highly!

Great Price

At first, I didn't expect that film to do any good because of it's price. I found out that I was wrong, it's great film for its porpouse.
