Didn't work well with my lens
I bought this adapter to fit an older series Nikon lens to my new Panasonic GH2. It's a great fit to the camera and attaches very well to my lens. The only problem is that it fits too tightly to the lens and I coulnd not turn the focus ring on my lens because of the snug fit.
My solution ended up being as follows in this order:
- micro 4/3 extension tubes
- a 52mm to 55mm step up ring
- EOS extension tube kit (using only the end bayonet of the tube kit
- a thin metal nikon to EOS adapter ring
With that solution the back focus is perfect (and adjustable by simply adding extra rings from the extension tube kit if necessary) and I now have no problem manually adjusting the aperature ring on my lens and the fit is pretty solid.
I only have one Nikon lens so I'm not sure how the pro optic adapter will fare with other Nikon lenses. It's a great price so I'm going to say that I would recommend this item. Hope the above is useful for someone else.

works as well as the expensive adapters
These adapters work as well as the expensive versions. They allow me to use my old Nikon manual focus lenses on my Olympus and Panasonic micro 4:3s cameras.
Remember that the smaller camera sensors won't allow the shallow depth of field as the larger sensors. which is good for some photographic applications, like macro photography but not for others like some portraits.
Be sure to focus with your lens at its largest aperture and then stop down for your intended depth of field.
I also suggest using manual exposure to get the exact light values that you want.

Great fit!
The adapter is not too heavy, mounting screws are well built. I've mounted several Nikon and Vivitar lenses on my AF100 without any problem, it goes on easily every time. It lacks electronic translation, so don't expect any auto focus or auto zoom to work, but for this price you won't find that anywhere anyway. Great for manual lenses, and very reliable.

Excellent adapter for Micro Four Thirds
Smooth operation with attaching to both the G1 and the Nikon lens. Fits secure and easy to remove.

Great Adapter
This adapter fits very snug and is easy to attach and detach both from the camera and from the lenses. It works exactly as I would expect.
