Excellent for holding flowers. Keeps them from blowing in the wind. Spike goes into the ground or can be gaff tapped to another object.

Works OK, but really takes some messing with at times. When extending clamp it will tend to rotate back toward ground, and the spike is a little large, tough to push into solid ground.

Freestanding stabilizer of flowers, etc that allows you to move the tripod independent of subject.

Drive the stake in and you have a rock solid third hand for macro work. This is especially helpful when photographing flowers (and the like) when a small aperture is needed for DOF, hence a longer shutter speed. The slightest little breeze won't be so devastating. Lastly, bring a hand clamp of your own and it easily attaches to your tripod like the other model.

Now you can improve the composition and sharpness of your photographs with the McClamp Stick.
The McClamp Stick will help you get a better composition with more control of your subject and will help eliminate wind effects for improved sharpness. The McClamp Stick holds gray cards and reflectors. The stick is pressed into the ground and allows you to move your tripod without having to readjust the McClamp.
The Micro-Clamp is used to hold objects; it features hard plastic outside jaws for holding firm subjects and soft neoprene interior jaws holding delicate subjects. 26" flexible articulated arm moves to any position and remains stiff. Soft rubber pads will not scuff or scratch carbon fiber tripods.
The McClamp Stick comes with a nylon carrying bag.
