If you're seeking advanced audio control in a professional setting, the dbx ZonePRO 640 Digital Zone Processor is your solution. This sophisticated device boasts six input channels and four outputs, making it an ideal choice for multi-zone audio control in diverse environments such as restaurants, fitness centers, retail stores, and nightclubs.
The ZonePRO 640 is a high-quality, durable digital zone processor that stands out with its wide frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. This ensures it can handle a broad spectrum of audio signals, delivering clear and detailed sound.
This professional-grade device offers limited front-panel control, requiring a computer for initial setup. It provides two balanced inputs on Euroblock terminals, selectable as line or microphone level with phantom power. Additionally, it features four pairs of analog RCA line inputs, each pair internally summed to mono for your convenience.
Outputs are available via Euroblock terminals and can be configured as either stereo or mono, offering flexibility based on your specific needs. The front panel control includes zone output volume, source select, and muting for each zone, providing easy and efficient control.
The ZonePRO 640 comes with a Windows-based control software that communicates with the unit via RS-232. Processor blocks can be switched in or out of a chain and include a wide range of features such as input gain, high-pass filtering, parametric EQ, compression, limiting, gating, AGC, ducking, de-essing, AFS (Advanced Feedback Suppression), notch filters, signal routing, band-pass filtering, delay, and polarity.
An AutoWarmth module provides a gentle bass boost compensation as signal levels are lowered, ensuring consistent sound quality. The device truly excels when paired with optional remote wall-mount controllers that can be positioned within the various zones for local volume control or scene selection.
A built-in real-time clock can provide programmable system changes throughout the day or week, and all program memory is non-volatile, ensuring program security in the event of power failure or computer malfunction.
In summary, the dbx ZonePRO 640 Digital Zone Processor is a sophisticated, high-quality solution for managing and controlling audio signals in a professional setting.
