asgambler a : How many USB ports are there and can i connect my printer?ANDREW R : This unit should be equipped with at least 2 USB ports. In theory, as long as your printer is a USB printer and is Windows 7 compatible, you should be able to connect it to this computer.
Kathleen P : Whaat does no optical drive mean to me?DANIEL T : It means that there is not a CD/DVD drive with the system. I had an issue where I had to restore the operating system on the computer. To do so, I had to contact Dell and they provided me with a USB flash drive with the Windows 7 Operating System. This was free of charge but it would have been nice if the system had come with it when purchased since there is no optical drive (and apparently Dell does not ship the OS disc with any system as I was advised by customer support).ANDREW R : Not having an optical drive means that you will not be able to use CD or DVD based media with this unit (unless you obtain an external unit (not included)).
