Great headsets with clear sound and great comfort

I needed to buy a comfortable, noise-cancelling headset because I frequently work from a noisy environment. After first buying several inexpensive, uncomfortable sets I decided to go for the real thing. The reviews of many "good" headsets included Denon noise-cancelling as among the best. It happened also that Denon was running a discount on some models so I ordered one directly from Denon. (Knowing what I know now, I would have purchased one at regular price.) The order was quickly fulfilled, and I put them on and began to use it. I was impressed with the fine looks, comfort, and quality, and more so, with the clear sounds that come and go through these beautiful headsets. But, within three days, a very small plastic piece in the headband broke. I called Denon's customer support and they went out of their way to replace the first headset. I can only speak well of the product and of the customer support. I'm one of (I'm sure) many satisfied Denon customers. They produce and stand behind quality products.

Great sound and comfortable

Great sound: very detailed and crisp. Solid, made with quality components, unlike many flimsy plastic headphones on the market. Also very comfortable. Only thing is that in my mind the Right and Left should be swapped.

Great headphones!

I've been using these with my Samsung phone, Samsung tablet and LG OLED tv. Great connection times, excellent sound, and these are very comfortable headphones to wear.

A quality product that should not be missed

I have been deliberating on the purchase of active noise cancelling, cordless, over-ear headphones for a few years. These AH-GC30 headphones recently stood out from the rest for value for money and performance. I have known the high audio and construction qualities of Denon products since 1974. This pair of headphones continues to prove this reputation. I wore these headphones for nearly 7 hours of a transatlantic flight and enjoyed every minute of the musical sound clarity and range from opera classics through blues to heavy rock.

Good bang for your buck

The AH-GC30 is a really great sounding BT headphone. It has better quality bass and mids than the Sony 1000XM4. The Bass is textured and controlled and not bloated or bleeding into the Mids like on the Sony. The ANC works great and is among the best. I wish I could give these 5 stars but there is one thing that is a negative and may be a deal killer for some people. The volume does not go loud enough for me. For casual listening it is fine but, on those songs where you really want to rock out and need 2 or 3 clicks more volume, it just isn't available because you are already maxed. Maybe other phones can go louder. I use a Galaxy S10 and where the Denon is maxed out, the Sony is at 3/4 volume on the phone to get the same volume in the headset. This was a deal killer for me using them every day, but I kept the headphones for the great sound they produce and just won't use them for those times I want ear deafening levels. I do recommend them.

Disappointed

Once connected, the headphones keep announcing 'Connected' randomly. This keeps interrupting whatever I am listening to, and is therefore extremely (needlessly) annoying. I have no issues with the sound quality. The overall design is a bit bulkier for my taste, but that's just a personal preference. I had read the reviews, which did make me a bit unsure, but I went ahead anyways because I had never tried Denon, and wanted to.

Headphones fit is snug but not uncomfortable. Was able to wear for hours. Sound is very good but bass is a little lacking. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Great Headphones with a small issue

Great sound and feel. The only issue is how you control the headphones. Not very intuitive, but manageable. It?s like first attempts at how the Apple AirPods Max work, just more clunky. I do like them a lot, just not it?s connectivity.

Good Value Wireless or Wired Headset

This headset's fit and finish and materials is first rate and represents a good value. It's not to complicated to operate and has a short learning curve. They're comfortable to wear over several hours. They're all I expected them to be. The user guide is well written and organized in a logical manner.

Not bad for the price

I would say these headphones are a pretty good value. I am a little disappointed with the craftmanship - the materials they are made of feel a little cheap. The sound is good and they are very simple to set up. Noise cancelling is effective, but not as great as some of the other products out there.

Nice cans!

These are the only blue tooth headphones that work well with my Denon receiver. My Sony and Jabra units would degrade the sound quality within minutes and get out of sync. I also tried a similar Marantz receiver and had the same blue tooth issues. Both amps are made in the same factory. The sound is nice. Less bottom end with more clarity in the upper mid's than my Sony 1000xm4's. They are comfortable. Certain programs seem to be limited on volume and that cannot be overridden. The only major con is the voice they use for the assistant. It would be nice if there was a choice. The voice is the most stuck up, obnoxious voice I have ever heard.

Great Sound & Easy to Use Features

I needed a Wireless Headphone with Blue Tooth 5.0 and aptX low latency for watching TV without bothering others. These headphones do the job perfectly. Great controls & noise cancelling options. My only complaint is they tend to make my ears sweat more than other brands and they are slightly heavy, but very comfortable. I've used another brand with touch controls & the using them was always problematic. On the Denon headphones, the controls are very easy to find by touch & work perfectly & quickly.
