Solid little receiver

Decided to get a refurbished model because I expect Denon's high quality to last a while. The setup was relatively easy; the menu options are straightforward, and with any LLM you can troubleshoot the process. The sound is definitely an improvement over my old speaker. I like that it's future proofed, in case I upgrade from a 5. 1 to 7. 1. One caveat is the display, where some of the indicators (e. g. input signal indicator) are very small and closely spaced. If you're more than 6 feet away, it can be difficult to tell them apart. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the purchase and will wait until I'm home by myself before I crank the volume and put on the bank heist scene from "Heat"

Denon AVR-S760H is an excellent main amp for our living room system and we coupled it with Klipsch speakers and a Klipsch 12" sub-woofer. 75W/channel. Crystal clear and works with eARC. Beautiful and works perfectly. Sound is warm and sounds great.

Great AVR, does everything & more

Being in the audiophile space for more than a decade now, I needed to replace my Sony AVR because of updated technologies, including AirPlay, Bluetooth, Atmos, etc. I've had Denon equipment since the start, and wanted to bring my Denon setup full circle with my AVR, as my Sony's Bluetooth crapped out years ago. This AVR has been an interesting update for me just based on technology and ease-of-use. Some Pros for the AVR (not in order): 1. Big knobs 2. Very customizable 3. Denon App 4. Airplay 5. Easy initial setup Cons: 1. Challenging menus 2. Long start-up when turned on 3. Works better with airplay via Mac w/ complicated systems (my Xbox, Mac, record player are all going to this thing) 4. Remote does not glow in the dark or light up? V basic remote for dark rooms. Overall I think I picked a great receiver, but there is a learning curve coming from a more basic Atmos setup to something like this.

A solid AV/Receiver

Easy set-up. Switches easily between Streaming, Blu-Ray, and PC I use as a Media Player. Decent sound quality. Different sound modes are simple to explore and really make a difference depending on the source. So far, so good.

Fantastic receiver that does what it says

This is my first Denon receiver, and I'm thrilled to say that it's not going to be my last. I made this purchase because it boasts three HDMI ports that support 4K/120Hz (or 8K/60Hz) passthrough, and it works flawlessly. I tested this with my Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2, and there were no issues whatsoever with the passthrough functionality. The controller and menu are both very functional, and I particularly appreciate the ability to customize the input names to my liking. Overall, I highly recommend this receiver!

Great upgrade!

I purchased this to replace a 19 year old Harmon Kardon receiver. I presumed newer AVRs could not sounds as good as the old tech. I was very wrong. This Denon receiver far exceeds my expectations. I am totally satisfied with the features and the sound quality.

Awesome receiver! I used to have a home theater that shook the house and windows setup. When I downsized my living space I got the Denon 540BT/Polk TL1600 budget system. Sounded very good. After doing that for 18 months I wanted Dolby Atmos. I don't have 7 speakers, yet, BUT the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization included in the 760 is great.
