Been waiting 45 years for an amp of this quality. Easy setup and awesome 2. 1 setup. Paired with Axiom M80's and a Sony subwoofer.

This is my 6th avr purchase in over 20 years. My first 3 were Sony 5. 1 and 7. 2 systems followed by a Denon 7. 2 and a Marantz 6015 when I decided to build out a full Atmos home theater system. Since I'm running multiple subwoofers, staying within the Denon/Marantz ecosystem was a fairly simple choice for me. I was looking to get a Cinema 30, but the black Friday price drop on the 6800 changed my mind. I ordered directly from Denon. The avr was delivered 2 days late due to a goof up on FedEx's end. That aside, the unit was quickly unboxed and put into service. As when any and all new electronics, the updates were installed before starting the calibration process. Setup was very easy and straightforward. Definitely liking the slightly refreshed GUI, and the newer audio codecs that were missing from my Marantz 6015. Hdmi handshake was flawless with all of my connected devices including my Govee sync box 2. I also appreciate the ability to disable the avr's internal amps. I've been running this unit pretty hard for a week now with no complaints or issues. I have only 2 complaints. When Marantz got the refreshed look, Denon units should've been done at the same time. My last issue, and shame on you Denon for this one. A back-lit remote should be standard on all of your avr's, especially when the product cost over $2000. My Nividia Shield was only $200, but it comes with a back-lit remote. The 6800, so far has worked like a charm and I expect to get many years of enjoyment out of it. Definitely looking forward to getting Dirac Live & Bass control. Please feel free to send a back-lit remote. Will gladly pay for reverse shipping of the original remote.
