Good Product
1. This monitor is G-sync compatible but not officially fully tested by Nvidia and not have a specific driver for this. But it is G-sync compatible for me so far, works great, but not sure for every user. If you are sensitive on perfect gaming experience, I recommend you go AW2720HF which is official G-sync compatible and newer model and cheaper than AW2518H.
2. This monitor is a TN panel, not a IPS one, you can do research by Google to see the differences. TN still works great for gaming, just in case if you want IPS you can go AW2720HF.
3. This product is designed for Old Aurora, if you are sensitive on out-looking and you have an Aurora R8 you can go this monitor. If you have a New Aurora, you can go AW2720HF.
4. The price is great especially with deal. I bought it with $279.99 on Black Friday, which is a great deal no matter some cons. Just consider by your budget.

The monitor runs amazing and the 4k res is so beautiful on select games. Probobly one of the best monitors I have ever bought.

Great monitor.
Great monitor for a TN panel. The thin bezels make it look like the monitor is larger than it really is. Getting great frame rates. A slight back light bleed on the edges but I feel that it doesn't take away from the image. And it is to be expected with a TN panel. I probably wouldn't pay full price for this monitor but at a discount it's a pretty good deal.

blurry text/pictures
love the 240hz however, the words/pictures seem to be a little blurry and i cant find a way to fix it via resolution or any other way

Monitor does not work out of the box
The monitor is not working. We got it set up and it does not work and it was a Christmas present.

Monitor works great. Got it on sale during Black Friday for $300. I would not pay 500+ for it though. I’m sure it’s worth it just too much for me. If you’re thinking of buying one, wait for a sale.

Just an awesome montior!
Bought two of these for my daughters new computers. These things are awesome for gaming! Wide screen and huge. Sitting in front of one of these is like sitting in the middle row at the movie theater. Great monitor.

My 5 year old laptop screen was better.
When I first got this, I plugged it into my laptop via HDMI, used duplicate to compare.
Its as if all the vibrant color in the world died, and left only the depressed dead colors. Its depressing looking at this screen with its lack of color. If you wanna feel alone and depressed and forget what a rainbow looks like, get this screen.
Worse, the viewing angle is so bad, you have to adjust the screen every time you move. I have scoliosis, so I move a lot to relieve pain, and every time I do, several inches of the screen suddenly turn dark or bright.
As a result of both of these, I can not keep using this screen. I sat here for hours on in trying to fiddle with screen settings, nothing brought me vibrant color. The preview of this screen is rather fake. The images they show you online are clearly not real images, they likely just slap it into a photo editor and give you a vibrant beautiful image.
Worse off is I thought I had selected the gsync model but I didn't and without that, gaming on it was bad, it lagged more and didn't look smooth. My laptop screen and this one together shown the clear differences, making my laptop screen far superior in every single aspect.
Because it was Black Friday, I missed the fact that there were reviews due to the store page layouts and such, it simply "recommended this screen" to me.

My son really liked this monitor, we were debating on getting this one or a cheaper game monitor. He is happy we spent a little bit extra on the black friday sales.

Excellent for Virtual World Simulation!
We ordered this for use with a tester we are building. The stand and features are some of the main reasons for our purchase. After seeing this I need to get one of my own for home use!

Good monitor
Good monitor wonderful responce time. Had to work with my Nvidia card settings to get the colors to not look washed out, but after that looks better still playing with setting to get them just right.

Alienware 25 Monitor
Nothing better for the price but I prefer a higher resolution, I also love the 240hz. If you have a PC capable of 240hz, I would get it.

Great display, costly real estate
The picture quality is great and it has all the benefits of a 240 Hz monitor, but it takes up a lot of desk real estate. Had I bought another (possibly cheaper) monitor I could fit two on my desk. A great choice for a one-monitor setup, unless you definitely have enough room.
