Awesome monitor. Been using it for two months now. Can’t believe I never used a widescreen before. Has amazing picture quality. Build quality is amazing. Cool lighting effects on the monitor. Only reason for four stars is I had to return it cause the monitor I received had the wrong I/O port cover. Got it on one of dells amazing sales so price was very competitive with more expensive gaming monitors.

I have had this monitor for almost a year now and it is awesome! The set up is a little weird as monitor will be in power saving mode. Takes a little getting use to navigating settings form the various inputs. However the image clarity regardless of gaming ,web surfing, or anything Microsoft suite related is A-maz-ing!! If this screen was at a better price point I would love to have two.

Acquired a EVGA 1080Ti FTW Hybrid @msrp went through many 1440 Monitors at stores and this by far was the best pick for the money spent. Gsync 100hz overclock its great. Looking for a new Desk because now I want another one of these

I've been using this for over a month and it is been great. I love the extra USB ports in the monitor. The stand with its path for cable management is great as well. The menu is easy to use and navigate with the buttons. The Gsync is awesome I play all my games on Ultra settings in full screen mode with no tearing. I can open two browsers side by side and they are the perfect size.

Well packaged quick delivery. As far as functionality very impressed with the quality 2560 X 1080 144Hz and G-SYNC enabled looks amazing. Tested with a few blizzard games Overwatch, Diablo 3, and Starcraft II big fan of the 21:9 aspect ratio, curve is easy to adjust to. I have used many different monitors through out the years I am really happy i decided to purchase this Alienware Monitor. Feels sturdy good quality build. Colors and brightness are great, text easy to read and also like the subtle lighting effects.

I bought this monitor because I could not find a high resolution ultrawide that was IPS and ran at 144hz+. I decided that I would sacrifice the resolution rather than other specs because when in a game, I hardly notice all the little details inside the image, but I easily notice when the refresh rate is slower or when overall the picture looks off as a whole. I will admit, it was one ugly huge image when I first got it. The low resolution on the desktop is painfully noticeable ... at first. In-game I did somewhat notice the lower resolution when I was looking for it, but when I'm playing I struggle to see a difference vs higher resolution. On another positive note, after several weeks of owning this monitor, even the desktop huge-ness no longer bothers me. I will say, I think I've seen better overall image quality from other IPS screens, but this one again only lacks enough when you're staring and looking for the degradation. When I'm just playing the game, I have no complaints. Overall, I got the monitor at a great price and would only recommend it under the same circumstances (less than $550). And really, the pricing should be closer to $450 or less to be priced aggressively. I only pay extra for the GSync tax and Alienware name (the AW lighting is quite awesome, but hard to notice during the day). The actual cable routing and mount design is quite good, but you need a lot of empty table space if you're using the included mount. In the end, I would recommend this monitor until the "more perfect" solution comes out, which to me is 1440p, 34" IPS 144hz+. HDR would be nice too, but not necessary. I did try the AW3418DW but too many reviews of the overclock fading and overall still-poor picture quality for IPS made me decide to invest in a cheaper solution for now. This AW3418HW is a keeper for now!

The Alienware computer I bought was top of the line - Threadripper processor, solid state drive, crazy memory. The results I got are nominally better than the laptop it replaced. The seven-year-old laptop it replaced. Overall, I'm disappointed. The computer has frozen five times in 30 days, perhaps due to the solid state drive having an old driver? That's the closest I can find in Dell's help section to actual help.

Purchased a couple weeks ago i tried to change the response to the fastest but it made the screen almost glow when i moved around in game so i turned that back down to normal and just clocked it to 160hz enabled Gsnc and It has been playing smooth.

I really like the display of this screen. I use it for work and gaming. Gaming is amazing on this gadget. The refresh rate is amazing and the color is so crisp. Black is black and red is red. From Soccer to shooter or excel the image is better than any other monitor I have purchased. The lighting display on the back of the monitor is so fresh. I love approaching my desk and it has that light blue glow. The power save mode is a pain in the rear. My monitor went into power save and wouldn't come out for a few minutes. This happened after only having it for two weeks. Therefore, I give the screen 4 stars but image wise its a 5star gem.
