Good computer. Everything I need is available, except I miss having a place to put DVD's. Can't install some of my older software.

I have had numerous Dell computers over the years. This model does not disappoint. It can handle anything I could possible need, or expect; very comfortable to utilize, and I like the clean, white

I ONLY PURCHASED A NEW COMPUTER BECAUSE I HAD TO. SINCE I HAD TO, IT MIGHT AS WELL BE AN UPGRADE... SO I THOUGHT. IT HAS NO DVD PLAYER, NO PROBLEM, I KNEW THIS. I NEVER USED IT ANYWAY. IT HAS NO CAMERA, WHICH I DIDN'T EXPECT. I'M STILL GETTING USE TO IT. SO FAR SO GOOD.

This is the slowest computer I have ever used in my life and that is saying something.

It's going to take a little while longer to find what I'm looking for in Windows 10 coming from Windows 7.

I've had Dell before. I really liked it then and I really like it know. Easy to set up and easy to run. Especially for a senior citizen. The only things I didn't like were the fact that there was no discount for senior citizens and I had to spend another $400.00 to put in invasion protection that I feel should be installed when purchased. 2 days after it was set up if was invaded by foreign virus that almost destroyed it. Seniors are on a budget. When we buy things we expect them to be complete. We should not have to pay half again as much to make the item complete!

This is the first computer I've ever had to startup without tech support from my former employment. Was very easy... so far, I'm very pleased with the computer [I previously had a Dell All-in-One that was about 9 years old].

OK, I'm over 70 but I've had heaps of PC's, laptops and wi-fi gizmos before and I can tell you that the 3480 set up was the most frustrating and counter-intuitive of them all. Dozens of times I've been asked for passwords/user names/pins, most of them apparently unrecognizable. I've been offered things like dropbox only to find it can't be installed. When I tried to load Norton the links just said "sorry we can't reach that page" Maybe you could ask me what I like about it in 3 months when I've sorted out its many dead-ends.

I do not understand why this brand new PC, with a supposed to be fast Intel processor i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60 GHz 1.80 GHz and 8 GB memory, can be SO SLOW, even slower than my 5 year-old Dell Inspiron 3847. Every single program takes more than 5 to 10 seconds to open and sometimes it gets kind of frozen for more than 30 seconds trying to open a new program. I greatly advice you to be careful choosing this PC. If you want to upgrade to a better PC, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE. This may be OK for someone who needs just a basic PC and not requiring a fast reliable PC.

I think this was a great choice and I am loving the options that this computer has so I will work with them all. I would tell my friends that this is a great computer and it will help them with their everyday tasks that do in a computer.

My old Dell laptop computer is still limping along after five hard long years. The new 3480 AIO computer comes charging out of the box. Has all of the bells and whistles you will ever need. No clutter, just right, easy to use. If your in the market to step up to a new computer, look no further than DELL 3480 AIO computer. Very simple to set up, 15 minutes or less your on the internet searching the world. Go to Facebook tell all your friends about your new friend! It even has a camera for Skype!! Well what are you waiting for...…………………..just do it!

Its very slow and despite its supposed 8th Gen i5 processor the wheel keeps on circling and takes its time to open a page, app or program. My earlier AIO was also a DELL INSPIRON with a first Gen i5 processor but it was much faster. Disappointed to say the least.

Haven't had the new computer long enough to assess it fairly yet. But so far I haven't had any problems with the computer at all.

Slow boot, slow app startup, hangs … this is not what I was expecting from Dell mid-level machine. I will have to follow up with customer support I suppose but it shouldn't be like this out of the box. I hope it gets better because I really liked the all-in-one idea and the PC is otherwise fine.

I have had this computer 1 week. It takes forever to download apps. It has attempted to "update" 4 times and failed. I also tried to install Norton, which I am already a subscriber, it conflicted with McAfee. After 2 hours of trying to uninstall, I gave up. So far, not a good start.

I often get updates, which is good since this is a new Dell computer. But just as often I get a "failed" on the update, with no apparent reason or explanation, or note saying why the update failed.

This PC is the slowest I've ever used. Despite the fact Win10 Home is quite heavy and resource-demanding environment, this workstation is heavily overloaded with absolutely useless software products from dell. Waste of money.

Only issue is upon loading pictures into Microsoft photos there was an error. It loaded programs instead. I can't delete or put them back where ever the go. Other than that issue I love my Dell. I would highly recommend a Dell to anyone!!

Wonderful machine. Does many things fast. Just one issue though. I couldn't get the integrated webcam to work. I tried downloading updated drivers, consulting the on line and system help menus, nothing would tell me what was wrong. Eventually I had to call Dell Help. After explaining my problem the technical person finally told me the solution. The integrated camera is located in the very top of the centre of the frame around monitor and you need to pop up the spring loaded camera by depressing it down; so simple. Yet nowhere in any of the written on line or system help information did it instruct the user to do this. Unless you know the location of the camera, you will never find it. Wouldn't it have been logical to tell the user to pop the camera up before using the camera function? Dell, your instructions should be better than this!!

My New Computer - Inspiron 3480
By Kathy P.
I have really enjoyed using my new computer for the past few days. Set up was fairly simple. I also added a CD/DVD external drive, which works great. I have been able to download all my old software like Office Home and Student 2007, Quicken 2011, and a few others. All seem to be working well. My advice is to try your old software first before you go out and purchase new. Especially with Office, and Quicken....if it works use what you have. Today I tried making a video, and it came out v...
