Body Framework

the left part of this computer pulled apart, and dell would fix it because they said I only have a basic warranty. I would buy any Dell product anymore. Also, I will tell my friends to stay away from Dell.

This is such a great laptop!

I primarily am using it to edit videos with Vegas Pro 15 and it works flawlessly. Have only had it a few days, but love everything about this so far!

Very Satisfiedi

I was looking for a laptop to edit photos using Lightroom and Photoshop. I needed a lot of power and memory. This computer had what I wanted at the lowest possible price - 16 gigs of RAM, I7 processor, and a 5132 SSD. I was not disappointed. Delivery was very fast and the quality of the unit is more than what I expected.

Amazing Value Laptop

Don't let the TN panel and the poor reviews online hold you back. This laptop has incredible specs for this price range. It's on par with a mid-tier desktop with decent graphics and processor, and that is a big deal for a laptop. So far I've only used it to play some Arkham Knight and GTA 5 with it and I noticed it freezes a little on Arkham Knight. That is probably due to the RAM amount. So I am upgrading it to 16 GBs and it should be fine. I am also planning on using it to do Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Programming in C++ and some Maya perhaps, as well as game development. So it should handle it like a champ.

Great Performance Upgrade for me - Great for Music

I've been very pleased with this laptop. It is my first Intel Core laptop, my first SSD experience, and my first GPU. So I am loving the speed of this machine. I have been using it for my music and plan to do some video editing as well. I think this can well handle it. Screen is nothing stunning, but works.

A GEM of a laptop\notebook.

Adorama had the best price for this laptop with the processor i was looking for. It was the same price as buying direct from DELL. What made me go with Adorama was their service waranty. A fraction of the cost of a comparable DELL waranty. There are a lot of missinformed people giving this laptop low reviews for performance. This laptop comes with 4 different processors. The one I bought is higher end i7-6700HQ processor and is fast and responsive. I have no issues runniing any software or games that my old laptop just could not handle. The audio is better than my pricey headphones with adequate bass to make games and movies enjoyable. I think reviewers should list the processor their system has since these combined reviews are unfair in the way it does not separate the processors within this laptop. You get what you pay for. If you go with a 3i or low end 5i "U" processor, then you can't expect the high performance. My only con is the fact that this laptop does not have a DVD\CD drive. I thought I wouldn't need one, but ended up buying an external one to load my older software. No stars taken away for this since I knew this model did not have it to begin with. Oh,well. found an external USB DVD RW for under $. works great.

Having had Dell laptops in the past, I'm not too impressed with this generation. Hoping it's dependability will at least live up

Disappointingly slow. The flat keys of the keyboard are not the best design -- especially if you're a touch-typist.

Not in love

I have been debating back and forth on returning this. I needed to buy it for editing images and working when I am travelling. I am not a huge laptop fan and primarily use PC. I find that this system has quite a lag and is not as fast as I was hoping with just opening programs and doing basic tasks. The screen is not very vibrant and crisp which poses a problem for using for editing.

Mediocre computer

Though it has the same resolution as my old Toshiba, the display isn't as crisp. The touch pad doesn't work well; maybe I need to adjust the sensitivity. On the basis of those two factors, I don't like it. But, it's for my wife, and she likes it.

Dell Laptop

Screen resolution not very high; response too slow; battery life only good for about 3 hours.
