I bought this 7 months ago and at first I had like 6 hours of battery. After 2 months, I started getting 2 hours. It's good for school, but bring your power adapter because the battery ins't reliable at all. Other than the battery, it's a good device for productivity and getting things done.

Pro: It's pretty good. Fantastic for school. Tons of space! And the touch interface is great too. If you are artsy this a great tool for drawing. The screen resolution is perfect. Cons: The fan isn't exactly the best you can have though, it overheats quite consistently. What I'm more concerned about is the charger. I have two Dell devices and both of the chargers have crapped out on me, won't charge either device. I wish they'd send better chargers or could at least replace them.

i received this computer two years ago, and it has served me well ever since. the intel i7 keeps the computer running smoothly, the integrated graphics isn't that bad for a laptop, and i am overall pleased with my computer. however, there is one problem. the fans seem to do nothing even at full speed, as shown by the temperature rising up to nearly 95 degrees celsius. it's a great computer, that i think could be made even better with new fans

I bought this about a month ago when my macbook got stolen. I must say this is the best windows pc I've used. It's so interactive, easy to use...the interface is just wonderful. Battery life is also great. I'll definitely recommend this pc to anyone

The device works reasonably well. However, it usually overheats withing an hour. It requires restarting every eight or so hours, or else will become slow enough to be practically useless.

I bought an Inspiron 13 5000 series, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase, its design, its software and hardware are really good and really worth the buy. I wouldn´t consider purchasing another Laptop from the same category.

Pros: Its touch. Its light. Has alot of built in touchpad gestures. Cons: I always spend extra money and get upgraded CPU, so my unit has a i7 and its still very very slow and unresponsive. But my worst complaint is that the fan is always running and its super loud. I'm pretty embarrassed to even use this thing in a coffee shop or library.

Overall, this is a great computer for a decent price. The size is perfect for carrying in a backpack and it is lightweight and compact. The versatility of the 2-in-1 is nice, you can use it in many different situations. The feature of the face recognition is very convenient, and it usually works. It has sufficient power to preform any task very quickly. The battery life lasts all day as well. I love it!

A very nice computer, though now Dell is offering the 2017 model with same specs and the latest I7 chipset for $. Very upset about that and considering sending this one back, as with Dell I also am entitled to a 10% military discount.

Was a massive upgrade from my i3 processor. Love utilizing 'tent mode' at the office and cannot beat the resolution of what display. Overall great purchase for the price.

I bought this for my daughter to use for school. I was looking for something that was fairly lightweight and portable (ultrabook) that had sufficient power to handle whatever she would throw at it. I have not been disappointed. It's a solid machine and much better than some of the plastic builds of days past. While the processor is last years model, it's powerful enough to quickly handle any of the video processing, crunching stat numbers, to common office or web browsing needs she has.

So far, in my second week of using it, everything is okay although sometimes it is slow and there are way too many pop ups about updates.

I love the Dell Inspiron, and it's wonderful 2 in 1 features! It is fast, easy to use, and so functional! My entire family is considering this as their next computer, because they all love it as much as I do.

Item is cute and working seamlessly. Exciting experience. However, I find problems in using direct Function keys as it requires combination of Fn Fn keys for which I am sure with passge of time I will be OK.

I recently bought a Dell 5368 to replace my older Dell 3000 2in1, which I broke while traveling. I enjoy the bigger screen and faster speed of the 5368, and the added weight (in comparison to my old 3000) isn't really all that noticeable. The only thing I have noticed lately is that sometimes when I try to scroll down a page by swiping the screen the computer will mis interpret my actions as me trying to "zoom in" of the screen. I am currently looking in to seeing whether I am doing something wrong, or if perhaps the screen is smudged and the confusing the digitizer. Other than that though I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the 5368 to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 2-in1 machine

Great product with defects

I received my Inspiron 13, 10 days ago. It is fast, easy to set up and light, I loved it! The ISSUE and disappointment are that unfortunately the touchscreen came with defects. The LCD has two small black dots right in the middle of the screen they are on the inside. Technical support was great. I will be returning this today and i have alreaady ordered a new one, exactly the same. I have been Dell customer for over 7 years and this is the first time i have an issue. Products are great, ...

Awesome computer
By vdewitt
I love this computer, although it took awhile to get it I feel like it was worth the wait
Picture the possibilities
13" 2-in-1 in a sleek and portable design with stunning sound and optional features like a backlit keyboard and infrared camera for facial recognition.
Dell love your work
Dell loves your work. That's why they created the Inspiron line. They're stylish, versatile and packed with potential, just like you.
Multiple modes. Ideal options
Flip into action
With an innovative 360-degree hinge, the versatile and lightweight Inspiron 5000 series 2-in-1 allows you to switch easily between four different modes. Tent mode is perfect for using recipes in real time, stand mode for movies on the airplane, laptop mode for typing your novel or emailing work and tablet mode makes reading while you're reclined easier than ever.
Options Galore
An available backlit keyboard makes it nicer to work in dim environments and the Infrared Camera option works with 'Windows Hello' to log you in with quick and secure facial recognition.
Stylish in every situation
Ready for the road
The 13.3" is their most popular 2-in-1 size. It's easy to slip into your bag and provides ample screen room to use for hours without eye fatigue.
Maximize screen space
The 5000 Series' new design emphasizes more screen and less bezel, so your attention's drawn to that brilliant wide-angle display.
Designed to impress
The dark gray exterior finish is matched with a smooth, matte black inside, offering an attractive, professional appearance that looks great for any occasion.
Built for adaptability. Tested for dependability
Stunning sound and vision
Each Inspiron 5000 comes with Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio and available Intel HD Graphics 520 installed, so your media looks and sounds better than ever.
The SSD difference
Available Solid State Drive (SSD) option provides longer battery life, quicker responsiveness, quieter performance and improved shock resistance compared to conventional hard drives.
Get connected
The Inspiron 5000 Series 2-in-1 is equipped with 802.11ac Wi-Fi for fast, long-range wireless connection with less buffering and drops compared to older designs.
Designed for the real world - because that's where life happens
Dell wants you to love your new PC for years to come. That's why they test Inspiron laptops for reliability not just in the places where you expect it, but for the open road ahead.
Turn up the heat
From locker rooms to locked cars, Dell tests Inspiron laptops for survival in harsh short-term heat conditions of up to 65deg.C/149deg.F.
Everything hinges on it
Dell tests Inspiron laptop hinges to ensure they still feel tight, even after opening and closing the lid 20,000 times.
Keys to success
Dell tests commonly used keys for 10 million keystrokes and touch pad buttons 1 million times with no failure. So go ahead, finish your novel.
Buttoned up
No matter what you set your power and multimedia buttons to do, they've tested them all to survive up to 40,000 pushes with no problems.
Twist and turn
Call them excessive, but after twisting an Inspiron laptop's base and lid more than 25,000 times, Dell can assure you the parts inside are well protected.
Always a good fit
You'll probably never need to remove and reinstall your Inspiron's battery 30 times, but you can rest easy knowing that they've tested even that.
