GPU broke right after 1 year warrenty

The computer itself is fine, however, as soon as the one year warrenty was up, the GPU stopped working which is very expensive to fix. Would be made to pay the same price of the computer, despite the product only being just over a year old with no fault of my own. Was very disruptive to my life, as this issue occured during finals week.

Piece Of Junk

I bought one new in 2017 video card went out in less than 6 months. In less than 2 years of owning it the battery is destroyed won’t last more than 30 minutes playing a game ( what’s the point of a gaming laptop if it can’t even run for more than an hour playing a game). The casing has literally just come apart without the computer being dropped. Cheap and not work the money.

It's okay

I'm actually decently happy with this laptop. But there are some annoyances. Realtek Audio is a pain, made worse by Waves MaxxAudio. Some things are too loud and others are too quiet (applies to both the built-in speakers and external devices like earphones). "Loudness Equalization" is not a feature and cannot be activated like with Windows audio drivers. When I plug in headphones/speakers, the computer does not recognize it right away because of MaxxAudio. Honestly, it would have been enough to prevent me from buying the computer if not for finding a long-winded solution. Good: Very fast boot-up; I use the touchscreen more than I thought I would; backlight keyboard; decent battery life; and quiet because of SSD Bad: Realtek Audio; the fingerprint sensor is so broken (does not work even with multiple fingers); has a play button, but no skip buttons for music; tiny directional keys

Great in perfomance but battery life ??

I have bought dell inspiron 15 5570 Core i7 8th gen variant . The performance was outstanding... since it is powered by i7 processor. i have noticed few issues regarding keyboard and battery life. The keyboard is well good enough for typing. But it gives a kind of mild sound. I do feel the keyboard buttons are not that much rigid. Secondly i have issue with the battery life. Considering i7-8550U is a ultra low power processor , the laptop should give 7hrs of usage. But after 4 hrs , if the battery falls below 30 % it will start draining off too much quickly.

Meh

Throughout the past year of having this device, I have only found more and more problems with the device. This laptop has had an incessant clicking for me for the past six or seven months, which begins to be very annoying. This laptop also has poor battery, and poor loading capabilities. Google chrome will eat at both my battery and my processing power on my laptop.

Keyboard not Good

The keyboard on this computer is off-center because of the numeric keypad. If you are used to a laptop with a regular keyboard that is in the middle of the screen (like 99% of the laptops out there...) you will constantly be putting your hands in the wrong position and making typos. Very frustrating and unproductive. Otherwise this is a solid machine for the price, but if you are trying to use this for productivity spend $100 more and get something else.

Terrible Computer

I bought this computer 6 weeks ago and after finally getting it, I fully regret this purchase. The computer freezes every time I try to use it, and it won’t let me login to my account. I’m so glad that I have a different computer that I am able to use for college because this is the worst computer I have ever come across. Not only is this a terrible computer, it’s not even the computer I ordered. I ordered a different Dell laptop, and by the time they finally came around to making it, they ran out of a part. Dell cancelled my order and made me order this instead, which is utterly ridiculous. I will never buy a Dell again in my life due to the terrible service and product.

Horrible!!!

I’ve had this laptop for just about 2 years & it makes a lot of fan noises within the first year. As a college student I do not need it locking up at the startup, it only goes to a blue screen I can’t do anything. I have to plan ahead just to get work done because I’m not for sure if the computer is going to work or not. It is very frustrating & I’ve feel like I’ve spent my hard own money for nothing

Many quirks, but reliable.

Dell not letting me post my full review due to "profanity", so here's a tldr version My experience with the Inspiron 15. Got mine about 9 months ago back in January. Pro Weight and fit – main selling point for this product Keyboard/trackpad – good experience overall Battery – around 4-5 hours after 9 months of use is acceptable. Speed – decent even after turning down CPU to 70%. Con Fans – loud out of the box and constantly on, turn down CPU to stop this. Keyboard – squeaky keys - fix by prying a corner of the key up to avoid contact Screen – very, very bland USB ports – automatically disconnects all of my USBs frequently except for wired mouse. GPU – stutters for full-screen videos above 720P

Terrible computer and service

I bought this laptop less than 2 weeks ago for my daughter that goes to college, the lcd display broke out of no where so there was ink and lines on the screen, i did not damage it, it just randomly broke overnight then i called to have it replaced and then they said thats fine but the next day they call back and tell me i can not replace the laptop and they said it was my fault, they said if i tap the screen it could break, but it was touch screen so whats the point of it being touchscreen when i cant touch the screen or it will break, i do not recommend this laptop to anyone

About average. I was reluctant to purchase because my previous Dell incurred a plethora of virus issues. This new laptop is sooooo slow.

Battery issues

The battery is running out very fast. I don't know whether it is a normal rate of battery drain or there is some issues. I would be happy to help me out in this issue.

Average...add some more bucks for better machine

Since I need a machine instantly I had to settle for this one. Though its a branch new machine but the performance is quite slow. For example, take ages to open Photoshop. I reckon I would have to install more RAM and add SDD (another 12-15 K) to better the performance. Also the graphic card is as good as not being there

Nice!!

I recently bought the Dell Inspiron 5570, and its superb. its faster than the laptops I have used before, its sleek design and the graphics are awesome. The processor to the sound everything is on point and would recommend anyone, and on top it doesn't make noise it is so quite you can barely hear anything from the processor. I really liked it, I hope my journey with 5570 will be awesome.

THE RIGHT CHOICE, INDEED!

By Nainiebug

I had been using a 15" Dell XP Laptop that my husband gave me free reign to when I was without my own for a time. (I had learned the hard way that laptops don't like even a few drops of cappuccino...a difficult lesson!) I was determined to take my time and make a wise decision. I really liked the color I got from both my Dell desktop and that laptop, plus I grew very comfortable with the feel of the 15" rather than the 17" with which I'd shared my English Toffee. I work a lot with pictures, s...

I got the dell inspiron 5570 (8th gen i7 8550u processor) unit, but the only mistake I did was to not the variant which has the graphic card too. While playing nfs mw2 I face some problem like heating and glitching. Apart from gaming this is a very well built computer for other office and home works and also things like photo and video editing. The keys function well and they are backlit too. I also like the additional feature of the fingerprint scanner which is very and efficient and quite f...
