Chose this computer and model after consulting with several computer repair services and a local computer club for my granddaughter's first year of college. It had all the important features and that she requested and several university professors recommended.

Great little computer. Its light and a goos size. It isn't quite as fast as I hoped, but also a lot cheaper than something like a Surface Book

Searched for several months before deciding on this. Couldn't justify the cost of any of the Surface models even though I'm using it for business. This is super speedy and capable of handling every aspect of my business. Will be buying one for my wife to replace an aging HP.

My need was for a very capable multi-mode laptop/tablet, but without paying a premium price for bleeding edge technology. This Inspiron met that bill with room to spare. It's very fast, has plenty of storage for my needs, and is a completely workable package. Easy to change from laptop to tablet, and with the stylus included, it's a very good value.

Mine was a dud. Wifi didn't work, it hung on restart and there was no video. Most applications hung and I couldn't create recovery media. I had to perform a restore, reinstall drivers and then update the bios. I'm still working on it but applications are much slower than the previous gen I5 laptop I replaced. I so wanted to like it. The finish and backlit keyboard had me excited, but the light bleed at all four corners of the display is a downer. #disappointed

Very nice 2 in 1 laptop with i7 processor, ssd, and 8gb of RAM. Folds over onto itself 360 degrees. Shipped promptly, better price than the same laptop at Costco. Thin profile with minimal bloatware.

Designed for the real world-because that's where life happens
Dell wants you to love your new PC for years to come. That's why they test Inspiron laptops for reliability not just in the places where you expect it, but for the open road ahead.
Turn up the heat
From locker rooms to locked cars, Dell tests Inspiron laptops for survival in harsh short-term heat conditions of up to 65 degree Celsius/ 149 degree Fahrenheit.
Everything hinges on it
Dell tests Inspiron laptop hinges to ensure they still feel tight, even after opening and closing the lid 20,000 times.
Keys to success
Dell tests commonly used keys for 10 million keystrokes and touch pad buttons 1 million times with no failure. So go ahead, finish your novel.
Buttoned up
No matter what you set your power and multimedia buttons to do, Dell has tested them all to survive up to 40,000 pushes.
Twist and turn
Call them excessive, but after twisting an Inspiron laptop's base and lid more than 25,000 times, Dell assures you the parts inside are well protected.
Always a good fit
You'll probably never need to remove and reinstall your Inspiron's battery 30 times, but you can rest easy knowing that Dell has tested even that.
