Firstly, the display is gorgeous. For software development, my text has never been easier to read. Screen shares are sharper, and I can often read text without zooming in. The screen is incredible, and despite its deficiencies, it is absolutely worth it. Now, for some nitpicky down sides. This is a VERY expensive monitor, even when on sale. But it's one of a kind at the moment. * It suffers from the standard Dell monitor quirks where you may need to fiddle with monitor settings to get it to behave just right, and the settings language is a little cryptic at times, but it does the job. * The webcam renders me in an unnatural pink or blue at times. * The panel, despite being marketed as "IPS Black", has a significant IPS glow that is visible when viewing a black screen. * Backlight uniformity on a black screen is awful around the edges, but I don't notice these panel deficiencies in normal use. * The speakers are quiet and sound worse than my laptop's speakers, but it's nice they are there at all. * If you're familiar with Apple's glossy displays, you will be bothered by the shimmery matte finish at first, but will quickly forget about it. Again, the display is incredible. And it works with my Windows and Mac machines simultaneously. I honestly should have bought this monitor sooner.

The set up was very simple in terms of unboxing and setting up. It's literally a snap into place (with regards to the monitor and stand). And in terms of monitor to computer it's literally a plug and play via USB-C. Took me less than 30minutes.

I have only owned the Monitor for less than a week, but my first impressions are that the monitor is exceptional. The clarity and ease of setup are impressive. I am not a gamer but for everything else it is the best monitor that I have owned, and I have owned and used a lot of different Monitors. The sharpness of the characters dramatically reduces eye strain. The colors are vivid and accurate. The camera is excellent and works perfectly with windows hello. The speaker a good for built in monitor speaker but not as good a external ones. Overall, this monitor exceeds my expectations and is worth the high price.

The text sharpness and image quality of this monitor is unprecedented. The fact that it also comes with a full fledged Thunderbolt 4 hub + KVM means that you can eliminate the cable clutter on your desk and operate 2 computers from the same keyboard and mouse. 5 stars, highly recommended for developers. Dell please make a more affordable version without the camera and speakers to facilitate multi-monitor setups!

This panel has an incredible amount of screen real estate. In my search for monitors nearing the pixel density of the Retina displays there weren't many options but they were all premium options. The camera and speakers are surprisingly nice (for built-ins) though the speaker location makes the monitor look a bit odd. That's probably my only complaint though, as the panel quality is stellar and the docking functionality is a big bonus.

I was excited to have a monitor that has everything I need to get things done at home/working hybrid nowadays. An amazing camera, high graded speakers and quality mics, and most importantly that could work on my Mac and Chromebook, from a single thunderbolt4 cable I can power my device and from there have access to this amazing 6K monitor, participate on my meetings with sharp, crystal clear and high def picture, amazing sound and get my work done. It also make my desk much more organized, since I don't have to have two docs, cables all around, speaker, external camera, and ambient lightening. Well done Dell, you've outdone yourself.

Great monitor quality. It worked right out the box with my 2018 Mac Mini with just a single Thunderbolt cable. The built-in camera is excellent and the speakers are good enough. The only concern is that it is expensive.

it is a nice monitor and very sharp. Howeve, the camera is difficult to control and difficult to get the right coloring and contrast. It is not very easy to work with the sound on my Macbook Pro M2 chip laptop.

If you need this monitor, nothing else will suffice. KVM switch, seamless between PC and Mac, excellent webcam and 6k display? Nothing else on the market for any price, and it's still half the price of Apple's display.

Great image quality. No dead pixels. Audio and camera acceptable. After about a month the monitor refused to wake up after the computers connected to it had been powered off over night. Attached usb devices were powered and functional. The computer and Dell's management software show it as connected and working. No image was displayed and the on screen display would not work, just a black screen with some backlight glow. Issue was only resolved by unplugging all cables and power repeatedly until it decided to work. Typically taking ten minutes of attempts. Contacted Dell support and after a half hour of discussion was issued a replacement monitor. Advance shipping and paid return shipping. Replacement monitor is working as expected. I have not updated the firmware as I had on the first monitor. With the Dell peripheral management software running on my macbook, the camera periodically opens and closes the shutter. Which is annoying.

I've had a 32" 4K monitor for a few years and have been looking for an upgrade, especially since I'm now using an M2-based MacBook Pro for my job. The Dell U3224KB will be keeping me satisfied for years to come. Pros: ? A beautiful panel with excellent color reproduction ? Built-in webcam and speakers that work quite well for videoconferencing ? 2.5Gbps ethernet, so I don't need a thunderbolt dock for my computer anymore Cons: ? You really need an M-series Mac for this display; my 2019 Intel-based 16" MacBook Pro will only output @30hz. Everything is smooth @60hz with the M-series MacBook Pro ? Control of the webcam is limited unless you install Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

Good Monitor for People that want a HiDPI monitor. Slightly less clear than the Pro Display XDR due to the anti-glare coating, but for an office monitor, the anti-glare is better. First monitor had a weird whining sound, but Dell replaced it overnight.

Beautiful panel. Full height adjustments available. Matte screen, with minimal distortion. 3 different connections. Works perfectly with the latest Macs. 1/2 the price of the only other 6K display currently on the market. Absolutely love this monitor! One star subtracted for speaker quality. They are adequate, but could be better.

I am using this monitor with a Mac Studio. Overall, I think it is a very good monitor. A bit pricey, but still a good monitor. I have had problems using it at full resolution with the Mac Studio, so I'm not sure a cheaper version would have worked just as well for me (that may not be the case for everyone). This also may be a Mac issue and not really an issue with the monitor. Everything works with the Thunderbolt connection including the speakers which is very nice. The height and tilt adjustments (and rotate that I haven't needed) are all very nice as well, and you don't have to pay extra for that. I really didn't need the web cam, but the one time I used it it it seems like a fairly poor image (overly white, washed out). I don't really intend to use it, so I didn't try to figure out if that is a real issue or not.

I've had my new monitor for a week now. This Dell monitor is everything it was advertised to be. Razor sharp with resolution to 6K. Included speakers and video are very handle and ideal for video conferencing. I'd order a second one if I had the need.

Not a good enough value for me. I was hoping that, in addition to the higher resolution screen, the KVM functionality of this device would allow me to simplify my setup. I was wrong. The KVM function is bare-bones and buggy, and favors the Thunderbolt connection. The webcam works well but would force me to eschew my Logitech webcam software. The monitor itself is pretty ugly, with the large fabric forehead. On the other hand, image quality is excellent, and I was able to achieve 6K on both my Macbook Pro M1 and my Windows PC. Bottom line, the added resolution alone didn't add enough value for me, so I returned the unit. Dell made this process pretty easy, to their credit.
