Decided to move up in monitor quality and color accuracy. This monitor was a great step, and the Dell quality shines through, as usual. This is a significant move up for photo and video editing.

I have had this monitor for almost 2 years and use it daily. This is a top performing ,monitor with a great bright colorful display. So a few things about this monitor. HDR 400- The HDR function on this monitor works surprisingly well. I connected my Samsung 4K Blu-Ray player up to it, and I could tell a big difference watching 4K HDR content. This is notable because in TV's low and even mid grade TV's don't actually display HDR(your screen will look dark and duller). They actually look worse with HDR content. So for this to display HDR content is amazing. Display- again it gets very bright, and has great color representation. Now for the bad- The only adjustment on the monitor is tilt. Also only inputs are 2x HDMI and 1 3.5mm audio jack.

Love the thin profile. Looks very sleek on my desk. Great image, and the screen is wide so I can put 2 letter sized documents side by side for working more efficiently. Love it!

simplicity is the essence of a well made product. The S27119DM is perfect for my needs with nothing to get in the way or create a tangle of wires.

i reluctantly bought another 27 inch ultrathin Dell monitor. A vertical line showed up on my computer a few weeks after using it. Because I originally bought two Dell 27 in monitors,

I am a long time Dell monitor fan. However, steer clear of this Minitor! I bought two of them, and found one day I had inadvertently bumped the monitor with my hand. This produced a vertical line from top to bottom. Because I am such a long time Dell customer, And because I have another one and it did not go bad I decided to order another one reluctantly. Sure enough I had it for three weeks, bumped it with my hand much like I did with the first one… And sure enough, a vertical line showed up on the second monitor I would be foolish to buy a 3rd. One of my argue that I was foolish to buy a second

The image is sharp and works well for most of my work needs and occasional videos. The overall footprint is lesser than I anticipated. Good buy but I hope the price could be have been more appealing.

I bought this monitor as part of a custom build that was replacing a 2013 iMac. I wanted a 27" 2560x1440 monitor as that is the size and pixel density I have been happiest with for quite some time. At that size and resolution, with an appearance similar to the iMac, this seemed like it could be a great monitor. Unfortunately, the particular unit I was sent had numerous panel issues. There were several dead pixels at the top of the screen, a grey "smudge" in the center of the screen and two more on the left edge, a very noticeable yellow shift on the right edge, and dark shadowing in the bottom corners. Build quality of the unit itself seemed quite good, better than I expected actually. It was very difficult to find reviews for this specific item, as they were mostly for the previous generation which had the USB hub in the base, and I don't think any reviews where for the North American version of either monitor. I ended up returning it and accepting that 27" is no longer a priority for manufacturers, and getting the Alienware AW?18DW curved 34" monitor instead (which is astonishingly good). If you know this is the size and resolution you want, and the chassis appeals to you, I would recommend trying to find a unit in person to check for panel issues in advance.

I bought both an Alienware Aurora R7 and the S2719DM monitor in April 2018. I am very happy with both purchases and can say that the monitor is perfect for me. Although I'm a gamer, I don't play FPS type games, I mostly play role playing games and MMORPGs, such as WOW and Divinity 2. I can honestly say that these games run and look amazing on this display. I'm running it in gamer mode, with the 5ms response time option, and everything works great. No dead pixels, no ghosting or perceived lag, and the high definition picture is awesome. Rich, bright colors, much better than on my 8 year old monitor. This monitor is not for everyone, if you need VESA support or faster refresh and response times there are better options. But if you just want a big, beautiful and very bright monitor for everyday use and non-competitive gaming, then I highly recommend this display.

Moving from the 2414H, this is a stunner. Haven't yet tested the HDR but the picture is as good as the set up.
