Wow, thank you Denon!

This thing is amazing and I did the sound calibration which my old Denon which was 10 years old did not have, anyways the calibration made the sound 10 times better and i could hear every were in the room and feel all the sound everywhere. I just had trouble setting it up but I have everything working amazingly.

Amazing experience

I've had my Denon in command AVR-x2300W for less than two years, and it has just stop working.  I'm extremely disappointed with the performance and overall quality of this unit.  I've owed several theater systems, and I've never had issues with a high dollar unit such as this one.

Overrated

I am well pleased with this A/V. It does exactly what I want it to do and since I have moved into Atmos it's even better. I am not an audiophile so can't speak technically. Suffice it to say that for the price it's brilliant.

Super sound, smart features with Android or Apple and two zones independent of each other.

Denon Sound Advice

I have owned this for nearly a year now and it's been a great upgrade from my aging Marantz. Nice features with the internet radio and Spotify as well as supporting 4K video which was the primary reason for the purchase.

I love this reciver it Hass No hdmi 2.0 only 2.2 i have a Epson tw9300 projektor the HDMI from the projektor to the reciver and from the reciver to Xbox one x No 4k  ....Denon do you have any brien left

I'm a denon user since long time ago. I bought this unit and I'm happy, but the clean sound is not enough if I want consider that for listen CD with my quad22l. I decided to buy one pma1500 denon, but surprise!!! That amplifier doesn't have any pre out!!! I read the spec and everything in the Italian denon site and there was! Then I checked in the us website and there was not the same spec! Same name, same model but different spec! Why??? I'm for the second time disappointed with Denon. The first was 20years ago when I discovered instead the fuse for save the unit one solid metal piece. And now this difference between Europe and USA. I'm happy with the finish and quality and I want to stay with Denon, but I'm disappointed for that.

No preout for the USA market

bought it about nine months ago.  Sound is fantastic  with everything else this can do its really future proof , a gereat buy

Love it to bits..especially Bluetooth and controlling from tablet

Awesome product

Configured for 5.1 with Dali speakers and PS4 Pro for games, streams etc, but im not joking this amp is awesome, im running QED X-Tube cable with Cambridge Audio banana plugs and QED HDMI & Interconnects.
The Bluetooth/ WiFi on the amp is great, any guest come round for a party or dinner, they just WPS pair to the wifi, pull Spotify up on their phones and sync to the amp within seconds. 
The amp is awesome for AV use, i spent good money on speakers and cables as you will only get out of, what you put into, regarding this amp however we can have a party with this beast no problem!
The wife likes doing a bit of ironing to Luther Vandross or George Benson, those velvety tones sending shivers down her spine, i on the other hand getting goose bumps everytime a grenade goes off on Call of Duty, or im hammering one of my Drum & Bass mixes.
This amp does it all and more, having done an awful lot of research through what hi-fi and richer sounds owner reviews, i picked the X2300 and i absolutely love it.

I bought this to replace my sound bar. Easy to set up with an excellent array of features and sound quality.

Fantastic product

Had this amazing value AVR almost 12 months which exceeded all expectations as my previous AVR was circa £1200. Sound quality excellent as are the features, However following the recent Dolby Vision/HLG update I have encountered several problems and support has been next to useless. Shame as I had previously recommended to many, several of who have purchased one.

Great sound and features, occasional odd behaviour

Having bought this a year ago I'm am extremely pleased and glad I changed from the Pioneer amps I have always bought. Powerful, many features, and great value.

Powerful, with stunning sound and looks

excellent all rounder in terms of music and movies, especially movies you can hear each channel working it's magic, trust me watch some horror movies and you will be in for a treat! Is also very future proof with full 4k support! oh yea and it had Atmos.

I purchased the AVR 2300 in March 2017 to replace its previous model which had stopped working after only two years from a fried motherboard. Unfortunately the new AVR 2300 only lasted six months. During a routine software update it also stopped working, caught in an update loop  I dealt with multiple Denon service technicians and even a supervisor but they were unable to resolve the problem.  Dennis service is also an issue since they are difficult to contact and it took weeks for them get back to me.  Finally, the only answer from service is for me to drive an hour away to leave it with some third party service company. 
I have been a long-time Denon customer but the continuous problems with two 
receivers and the frustrating service is not what I expected from Denon.  It's been two months now without a working receiver after only six months of owning it.

Continuous Issues with Denon receivers and service

This replaced a Denon AV amp 10 years old. I required control of audio and video with ease of control etc. The AVR-X2300 fulfilled all my requirements and exceeded my expectations. The new app has completed a great buy.

Great Avr

I changed my Onkyo for this Denon for a couple of simple reasons. 1. All HDMI ports are 4K compatible, whereas the comparable Onkyo and Yamaha only have 3 out of 8.    2. I normally keep "auto" settings, so a lot of the "fancy" features do not appeal so much. 
The sound quality is great, as loud as it needs to be, and simple to use.

Love my new Denon AV amp...very versatile unit and I can access my NAS drive and also Internet radio...still getting my head round a few things but in general it's great!!!

So much better than my old Yamaha!

Really impressed with this bit of kit, very much an upgrade from my previous AV amp. Comes with a wealth of features out of the box, the perfect addition to the modern home cinema experience. 4K and Atmos ready, you just cant go wrong.

Bought aound 2 months ago upgrade from a previous model great features and sound only poor thing i have noticed that was the same on the last model is wireless connection to WIFI it take quite a few goes at getting a connection and not very stable

My first one packed up after 4 days sent it back and was replaced straight away..my second one is really good, got atmos speakers connected and sounds amazing

Great sound

Sounds Great, easy to set up,  very configurable.  But the android App,  wow,  where to begin...  it's just terrible,  it's almost a reason not to buy the amp. i like to stream music from my phone and the app just doesn't really work.

Great Amp - Terrible App

I've been a long time Sony advocate and was running a very capable 5.1 DTS Receiver from their QS Range but with only 1 HDMI Input and no HDCP2.2 it was beginning to show it age in terms of connectivity. 

My brother put me onto an offer in RicherSounds for this unit and I didn't need much convincing. Once I'd explained to Mrs P the enhanced simplicity of up to 8 sources all using the same input on the TV, she was sold too.

Getting the unit home and unpacking was the usual polystyrene and zipbag affair but within 1.5hrs the unit was up and running, connected to my home network, calibrated using the enclosed microphone and ready to test.

4K via Netflix off my 65" LG was pin sharp and the couple of atmos demos available via my Xbox One really highlighted the spatial sound and 360deg soundstage.

Blu-ray visuals were vibrant and sound was bright, dynamic and clear. John Wick tested the Atmos capabilities and my neighbours soon knew we had a new system.

Overall well worth the £299 price tag and will futureproof us for a few years - maybe not the heft of my original Sony in terms of build quality but great value and sonically precise. Recommended!
