The TS-C's compact design makes it an ideal choice for documentary work or any production scenario where a larger slate would be impractical. Despite its small size, this versatile slate is capable of jamming to all standard frame rates, including the 23.976 frame rate commonly used in HD production.
When synced to an external time code, the User Bits are set automatically, ensuring seamless integration into your workflow. The TS-C also offers a manual set mode, allowing for cross jamming of frame rates. The auto set mode intuitively jams to the same frame rate as the incoming time code, providing a reliable and efficient solution for time code synchronization.
In time code reader mode, the TS-C can read both ascending and descending time codes. It also has the ability to read and display off-speed time codes, which are often used in special situations such as music video playback. The time code reader can also be configured as a "+1 frame reader", displaying the time code in real time, ensuring accuracy and precision in every take.
The TS-C is the first Denecke product to support the Aaton serial protocol, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and versatility. A high precision TCXO, combined with a 16-bit microprocessor, ensures extremely low drift and high accuracy, making this slate a reliable choice for any production.
