This 4k monitor is unbelievable. The detail is exquisite and the colors are great too. I've used Dell monitors for over 10 years and I've never had a single problem or a single dead pixel. Love 'em.

Monitor came packaged to prevent any normal damage from shipping. My computer uses a mini DP to DP connection and no problems setting it up. 4K video has a sharp image and colors look natural. The reason for only 4 stars is that I've only used it for two weeks. I would recommend this model even with the short amount of time I've used it.

Great monitor for reading, writing, productivity. Great value too. Better than LG/ Apple due to antiglare option.

This monitor is everything I was looking for. I love that it's 4K at a smaller Size. It's got a high quality stand and everything else about is quality. I'm super happy with it. As a side note, I wish it came with a USB type-C to Display Port adaptor in addition to the Mini Display port to Display Port adaptor. I give the reason below. (Thus the 4 stars instead of 5.) I use a Dell XPS with a 4K screen. When I used an HDMI cord to connect to the monitor, it was delayed and lagging. After a lot of research and experimenting, I found out that HDMI doesn't support the same screen refresh rate for the monitor as my computer screen. Only Display Port and USB type-C do. My laptop only had HDMI and USB type-C output. (I didn't even know that USB type-C was used for display.) So, I had to purchase the USB type-C to Display Port adaptor in order to fix the lagging on the monitor. (Display Port is the Primary input for this monitor.) I wish they had put the USB type-C adaptor in with the mini Display Port adaptor.) Anyway, besides that hiccup due to my lack of knowledge, it's a superb Monitor.

24 Ultra HD 4K Monitor is outstanding, much better than expected. Can't beat the quality for the very low price.

Another solid well put together monitor from Dell. I still have a Dell monitor from 12 years ago that works fine.

I wanted a bigger screen to work on. I didn't know much about 4k technology, but learned a lot at the Dell site and other sources. What a fantastically clear picture the P2415Q is! I now look forward to viewing and creating documents on this wonderful tool

OK monitor, nothing more or less. The first one was defective. Getting it replaced was sheer heck. Don't want to deal with Dell again until they have some US based customer service.

This is a very nice monitor. The colors are vivid and it doesn't use much power.

Price match did not apply to one of Dell’s vendors offering a 20% discount. Set up instructions were not specific to computer purchased on same order.

I needed an additional monitor for work that would handle heavy numerical and text display clearly and crisply. This monitor did the trick without costing a lot.

I have a Dell XPS 15 (9560) notebook with the upgraded Ultra HD 4K Touchscreen. I wanted an external monitor for my work in software development, to be able to extend my display. This monitor matches the 3840 x 2160 resolution of my notebook and works great and looks beautiful. To get the full resolution, you have to connect to the Display Port on the back of the monitor, and not to HDMI. The monitor comes with a cable that has a Display Port connector on one end, and mini-Display Port on the other. I had to buy a mini-Display-Port-to-USB-C adapter that supports 4K in order to connect it to my notebook's USB-C port. I purchased a StarTech brand adapter at the suggestion of a Dell tech support rep. Also - the monitor has USB ports on the back. In order to use them, you have to connect the supplied USB cable from the back of the monitor to a USB port on the notebook or a docking station. I was able to connect an external keyboard to one of the USB ports on the back after I did that. It took me a while to figure this all out, so I hope this saves someone some time.

My wife and I are very happy with the beautiful image quality and we found the price to be good. The jacks on the back of the computer were poorly designed. The one USB port is on the back of the monitor and the barbed HDMI (might be called something else) is stuffed behind the stand. Just terrible!!! Terrible design. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bought (2) brand new (Manufactured 2018) P2415Qs. Both are experiencing thin grey lines all over the screen (most noticeable on white backgrounds). I'm returning ASAP. Can be seen in the attached pic.

If you are looking for a great 4K monitor this is the one. Shop around for the best price. I paid full price from Dell on my first monitor and $125.00 less elsewhere.

When sitting at a typical distance, there is a notable colour difference between the top and bottom (it's a viewing angle issue). If you move your head up and down you can see the colour change -- I noticed it specifically in some green-ish yellows. Also, the monitor often freezes on a black screen when resuming from standby. I need to restart the monitor before it displays the image. Also, unless you've got a super high end well-shielded displayport cable, it will sometimes display a garbage image for a frame or two. The displayport cable the monitor came with was not good enough for 4K resolution, so I bought a new one that has performed better, but still drops a frame or two now and then. Also, displayport is annoying with Windows and my windows often get moved around and resized when resuming from sleep or just having the monitor turn off -- I don't know if this is a problem with the monitor, my graphics drivers, or the way that Windows handles display devices (it's likely a combination of all three). This problem happens with other brands' 4K monitors, but I figured it's worth mentioning. If 4K@60Hz on HDMI was supported, I would switch to HDMI and it would probably avoid the issue all together.

I work in digital illustration, so it was important for me to find a quality monitor with high pixels per inch. This monitor satisfied those goals at an affordable price. No dead pixels, dark spots, etc. The only issue to arise was during installation. My MSI Gaming M5 motherboard could not recognize this monitor no matter what I did, even though the hardware specifications indicated it should work. It worked immediately as soon as I installed the video card and connected the monitor to it (a Radeon R8 390X). So you may run into compatibility issues.

My previous review was one star because of the DisplayPort problem everyone is having. Well, following the instructions on how to remedy the problem WORKED. I no longer have the problem and the monitor works like a champ.

I have experienced the monitor not waking from sleep mode. But I normally shut down my PC. So, I love the crisp text. Love the colours. I use it mostly for photo editing with LR CC and PS CC. I had to upgrade my Spyder 5 pro to Elite, so I can use Studio Monitor Matching. Now both my Dells are exactly the same brightness and colour. When this comes down in price, I may buy another one. My other is only HD (U2410). Having different resolutions on both - is a pain at times.

I purchased this monitor less than a year ago. It took some time for me to set up as this was the first HD monitor I've owned. But I got it up and running and was proud of my new display. Last night, I installed some new software (for photo editing) and worked with it a while, to get a feel for it. When I was finished looking at the new program, I turned off the computer and went to bed. This evening, I came back in to my home office and turned on my PC. The computer came on and revved up. The monitor, although it had been in sleep mode, NEVER woke up. I checked the cables at both ends, forced a computer restart several times, tried changing monitor input... None of that worked. I was very frustrated. Had I inadvertently changed a graphics setting? No. Could it be the graphics card? Unlikely since it is newer than the monitor. Fortunately, I was able to get onto Dell's website via my tablet, only to find out that others have had the same problem. Following the experience of another reviewer (THANKS!!!), I forced a shutdown, unplugged the P2415Q monitor, plugged it back in, and turned on my computer. VOILA! The monitor comes on. Why are they still sending these out? I do not recommend buying this unless you are a glutton for punishment.
