Exactly what I needed/wanted!
My PMA-1700NE arrived today and I am floored. This replaced an NAD C388 and it is one of biggest improvements to my system. It drives my KEF R3 stand mounts like a champ and pairs beautifully with my DCD-1600NE. The built in phono stage is phenomenal! Couldn?t be happier!
Great Amplifier
Denon amps have the perfect sound we look for, velvety smooth and warm while still retaining all the detail! They go so well with our Sonus Faber speakers and go together like milk and coffee (Sonus Faber speakers might sound too harsh and jagged with other amps for our taste). We loved our PMA-600NE so much that we went with these after getting speakers that needed more power. And these 1700NEs are made in Japan! They look great too. Build quality is excellent and the controls feel solid.
