I'm uneducated in the finer points of monitor technology, but I can't say I've ever wanted for anything with this monitor. Wanted an affordable 144 hz monitor and it does the job.

The picture quality is fantastic and the size is perfect for duel monitors. However, on the second day of use we already have a dead pixel. As this model is not included in the trade in guarantee that Dell offers, I would suggest the next level up for a better gaming experience.

I use this for general productivity, but its a great monitor. Nothing fancy about the stand, but I don't have any special adjustment needs.

I don't like it. Contrast is very poor, you have to adjust via software. Never had to do this in my whole life before. The stand is awful. And you cannot even replace it because the back of the monitor doesn't have holes to attach a different stand. The only good thing is the price, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Good color until you get into darker images then color banding is unbelievably bad do NOT buy.

Works great...while it has a audio line out I wish it had a speaker.

Needs high adjustment. Also, ports are hard to access. Sharp bright image, however.

It's a nice big screen and works well with what I need it to do (I do freelance design/illustration work, so I have to make sure the colors are properly showing when I send out finished designs).

You don't need a review from me, if you've taken the time to review the specs of this monitor. I can attest that the delivered monitor appears to meet all of the listed technical specifications. As for my opinion, it's the best monitor I've ever owned.

Decent monitor. Only negative is lack of a built in speaker.

I like this monitor for gaming. The screen is TN and has colors a little bit washed out. No HDR. Power saving modes had to be disabled because Windows wouldn't consistently wake it from sleep. Overall it offers a good experience but a few flaws prevent me going it 5 stars.

The title says it all. Does have output supporting multiple monitor chaining via display port.

This monitor is a great value! Been using it for a little over a month and it performs beautifully at its advertised 165 MHz refresh rate, which, along with G-Sync, translates to a butter-smooth gaming experience (if you have the right tower setup). The only feature I miss occasionally is built-in speakers. Not a huge deal, but definitely nice to have when you just want to do some casual movie watching or play music without popping on headphones or needing to have an external sound system setup. There's also one issue I've had that used to happen in the first few weeks of purchase, albeit intermittently, but hasn't occurred recently. This is a one-pixel screen misalignment that ran all the way down the center of the screen. In other words, the left half of the monitor was rendering everything one pixel higher than the right half, causing a visual split or misalignment of the monitor display as a whole. After a turning the monitor off and back on a few times, the issue would go away. Thankfully, it hasn't come back in a few weeks. Perhaps an automatic update fixed it permanently, though I'm not sure. If it does crop up again, I will definitely reach out to support. But again, overall this is a great, great display for the price and feature set! Hard to pass up if you enjoy high-framerate giving on a mid-range PC budget.

Really happy with this monitor, looks amazing and is easy to use. I recommend reading the Tom's Hardware review for this monitor, it has some useful information on navigating the settings. As far as out of the box performance, it doesn't get much better! Highly recommended, easy to assemble, and looks amazing with high demand games. USB ports and audio jack are useful features.

This looked like the perfect monitor: QHD, small factor, very high speed, Dell Ultrasharp features... sadly, it was too good to be true. Color reproduction is horrible, even for a TN panel. While viewing angles are actually very good, it suffers from horrible color banding in dark scenes and in color gradients. I tried calibrating it and changing the setting in the NVIDIA control panel, but the banding is still present. I wish I can replace it, but I live abroad and my wife bring me the monitor, so I'm stuck with it. If you don't care about heavy color banding in dark scenes and want speed and resolution go for it. Otherwise be aware. BTW, my revision is A05.

Honestly, if you can afford the extra money. This is the monitor you want, and the company you want to do business with. Dell stands with their customers. Dell has customer support. This monitor will make you better at whatever game you are playing. G-sync, 144hz and 1440p. Forget about it. Game Over. This is the monitor technology your buddies dream about.

When my monitor arrived, I was delighted...UNTIL I discovered a 3/4 man sized hand print on the middle of the display. And it wouldn't clean off. Dell sent me a new one! Yea Dell.

This monitor is just awesome. Takes a very little amount of time to set up a pc and console. The power saving function takes very little time to actuate, but you can turn it off at any time in the settings. Def would buy again.

I beleive the latest revision of this monitor is A07 and the one they sent me is A03. The color banding on it was horrific. I do like this monitor the frames and G-Sync are awsome, but when i asked dell if i can get the latest revision to take care of the color problem they said it wasnt possible. So its luck of the draw when ordering this monitor colors are not of high importance to you or you get lucky enough to get the latest revision then this is an great monitor!

When I got this monitor I noticed that it had a very bad color banding problem. Much much worse than my $150 benq monitor that I had before, I was very frustrated since I had spent quite a bit on what I thought would be an upgrade to my old monitor in every regard. I was able to return it because it had a good few dead pixels on it, but the replacement monitor was, if anything, worse than the last one in regards to color banding. Dell refuses to replace this one for the color banding issue since they feel it is working as intended. You are better off spending a little bit more on a different 1440p / 144hz display.

I bought one of these monitors about 2 years ago. I really enjoyed it, as it was my first monitor with 165hz and 1ms response time. However, just under 1 year ago I bought a second one. This was the decision that I regret doing. It seemed like a great idea... 2 monitors side by side with 165hz and 1ms. Until I found out that this isn’t the best for gaming. If you would like to game on this, I deeply recommend buying ONE of these. Two of these monitors can be super hard on your pc and bring down your FPS. I had to upgrade from a GTX 1060 to a GTX 1080. In conclusion, these monitors perform amazing now. If I could go back, I would decide to go for two 1080p monitors. This is solely due to the fact that gaming would be better on those than two of these monitors. Aside from all of this, I would buy this if you want a solo monitor set up.

I bought this monitor as a refurb unit from Dell. I was fortunate that this monitor did not have any issues that others were complaining about (these may just be a quality control issue on Dell's part), such as backlight bleed, uneven colors, or sleep/wake issues. This monitor has been a pleasure to use and game on. Despite being a TN panel, there is almost no noticeable color shift when viewed horizontally off-axis. The colors only shift noticeably when viewed vertically off-axis (ie. looking up from below the monitor). Colors need to be adjusted in the Nvidia control panel, but after setup the colors are comparable to the IPS screen on my laptop.

I have 4 of them and love them; great colors for TN, love the thin bezels so they look cool close to each other, solid, sturdy stands, instant picture on powering on (instead a few seconds of forced logos), the power indicator LEDs are not annoying and barely visible from the front which is good, super smooth screen which is easy to clean (almost as smooth as glossy screens, but it's matte), acceptable viewing angles, virtually zero blacklight bleed and color banding can be fixed with color management. And all four looks exactly the same with the same settings which is rare. By far the best monitors I had and I had a few.

I've had the monitor for over a week now, and let me tell you...it's changed the way I look at gaming. The 2k res on the 24" screen w/gsync and high refresh makes EVERYTHING look beautiful. One caveat though...to really make the monitor shine, you'll need a decent graphics card. The set up was easy as can be...I plugged it in (make sure you use the display port cable that's included and within a couple of minutes was finished. I was fortunate to get this monitor for less than $400 via Dell we...
