Chris R : Is the monitor compatible with macs???BRIAN B : Macs use normal pc components now so I can not see a reason why this monitor would not work.MAHDIEH K : Yes it works with Mac. To use this monitor with a Mac, you’ll need to buy the appropriate adapter, depending on the video output connector on your Mac.ANDY Z : I use it with my Mac. You just need an adapter unless you have a Mac Pro with a DVI outGREGORY G : The monitor accepts three inputs: HDMI, DVI, and VGA. As long as your Mac has one of those ports to output, it will work. If your computer doesn't have any of these, then simply get an adapter. The new Macs all have Display Port, and I am currently using a Mini Display Port to DVI cable with the monitor and it works fine.
And for future reference, monitors don't ever just work for one brand of computer. Even though Apple uses a different operating system than Dell, they all use the same connections.ANDREW R : This unit may require a cable adapter depending your Mac. Input ports include VGA, DVI-D (HDCP), and HDMI.
