RAM itself works perfectly and is an identical match for existing RAM in the Optiplex PC it was added to. Will be covered under existing warranty as its an official Dell part. Had issues with the upgrade where the PC wouldn't boot with both sticks of RAM installed until the BIOS was updated. After BIOS update it worked perfectly. Price was a little high vs reputable 3rd party RAM vendors, so if you don't care about the warranty coverage of the PC or its run out or about an exact match and are ok with speed and basic timing matching alone, maybe look elsewhere.

I increased my RAM from 8GB to16 GB with the addition of 8 RAM. My Inspiron desktop works like a charm. Very pleased with the outcome. I can use my PC for few more years.

Well it worked which was my main concern as a novice. Easy to use the Dell website to find the correct part, so the fact that it was a little pricey was helped by having the confidence that it would be right and work. The free delivery helped and it only took a couple of days to arrive.

Upgrading my Dell XPS 8930 with two additional 8GB sticks of memory was quick and simple. Pricing was competitive with those of other vendors. Plus, I felt assured there would be no incompatibility issues with said purchase from Dell.

I bought my Dell Inspiron 3455 with 4GB of memory. But just starting Windows 10 took 70% and starting Chrome took just about everything else. The system was constantly swapping and thrashing. And slooooow. I finally decided to order another 4GB from Dell, but all they had available were 8GB chips. So that's what I got. I kept the original 4GB chip and added the 8GB chip for a total of 12GB. Now I can open all the apps I need and memory usage is around 50%. What a great performance boost. No more swapping and thrashing - yay!
