Best 24' Monitor to by for your money

The price was right and the monitor does what I wanted it do do. I prefer more "real estate" from top to bottom and needed a 16:10 monitor. I don't watch movies on my computer and don't care for wide screen monitors. I still have the older 4:3 monitors for Photoshop, Word etc.

Worth the money. Would buy another one.

I like my new monitor. Had the old Dell smaller one for 16 years and it still worked. But, I wanted a somewhat larger one to make viewing easier and where I could sit further away.

I have 5 of them...  I work with multiple screens.  Have been using them for years ans love them... Size, flexibility, picture quality... etc.  Am here because I am planning to buy a 6th one.

Bought 2 of these to work from home. Great monitors, and great value. Plus they have the DVI connection I need for my docking station.

I can see the controls at the bottom when I watch movies.  The USB cable does power the monitor!

I love the larger monitor size. (I went from 19" to 24".) The image clarity is great too. I would have appreciated better "written" documentation instead of only a single sheet with diagrams. For example, there was nothing to explain what the buttons on the right edge do. Of course I figured out the power button, but the other 3 are still unknown.

Great monitor - Documentation lacking

This came with the PC I bought in... 2015? It's been through one house move, an office move, and years of 12-15 hour days of use. It is still bright and crisp, and has given me no problems whatsoever. I'm actually on the website to buy another to match it.

Beautiful Workhorse

I'm a software programmer and have two of these monitors side by side.  They are very crisp and have additional vertical resolution at a native resolution of 1920 x 1200.  I recommend for coding.

Great monitor for coding!

I love my computer! My job recently set me up I've had it for almost two months. I love how fast and constant my apps open and ability to download apps so quickly. No complaint honestly. I'm looking to getting the same set up for home!(:

Ultrasharp 24 Moniters - Combo set

IT director, inherited an 80 person network each running dual displays and these guys were partially in place when I arrived.  I've since added (ballpark) 40-50 more monitors, over the past 3 years and these are solid. Work reliably, image/brightness/sharpness are nice. Connection options are helpful (mostly DVI though)

Workhorse

This is the second Dell Ultrasharp monitor that I have purchased.  The picture quality is good, and the Dell Soundbar is a nice accessory.  They seemed to be a good value.

After using each of these monitors for a year or two, the power connector kept losing its connection if you'd bump the monitor.  With my second one, it even happens if you bump the table.  You have to jiggle the power cord and hope it stays on.  

I posted a question to a Dell forum regarding this issue.  Since it's happened on two monitors in a row, I thought it might e a known issue.  I received a very terse reply saying that they don't provide any support for 5 year-old monitors.  First, it's not 5 years old, and second, I was just looking to see if others had a solution.  

This is the last Dell product that I'll buy.  I don't think I should have to throw their products away once the warranty expires.

This monitor replaced a 15 year old apple cinema display that hit the pile. Definitely recommended for both quality and price. Additional points for integrated USB and other ports.

Great Value

Looks fantastic out of the box; no color casts and only very minor, almost unnoticeable bleed-through in the corners. Colors are quite vivid; it was surprising how much I had been missing with my old TN panel. Sharp, excellent contrast and quite bright, too. Very satisfied.

IPS delivers first rate display-- clear, good blacks, wider viewing angles and might be eaiser for some eyes. This monitor is one of the few good ones left that includes DVI and 16:10.

good display/price performance

Brought this monitor in May 2015, and after just a year and 2 months it stop working.  Now I plugging in my old monitor that is almost 10 years old and wait for new monitor to come.  Very disappointed.
