This is relative to my 5 year old Inspiron 15 in screen. This thing is f'kn great. I'm glad I spent the money. The difference is amazing. I did good work with the old machine, but this will help me grow my new photography business - because I can see what I'm doing post!

An Exceptional Value
The monitor is as advertised. Since installing it, I have found some custom personal settings which have been a considerable help. The more I use it, the better I like it.

Very nice monitor for good price
I run two of these side by side to replace my 27" and 23" displays I've used for the last 10 years which were starting to fail. I'm very happy with the picture detail and color at a good price point.

Efficient and reliable monitor
now the standard issue for our business, this monitor is efficient, reliable, and easy to deploy. Does not include touch capabilities, but not necessarily needed for most of our business users.

Great monitor
I bought this monitor to replace my dual monitor system. I trade stocks on my days off and play games on the side with my son. I absolutely love this monitor. The only downside is I wish it was just a little bit curved, but it's still a great monitor.

Reliable Monitor With Nice Looking Image Quality
All in all, it's a good monitor for day to day use. However, I don't recommend for creative projects, such as graphic design or video post because the imagery isn't quite crisp enough.

Good monitor with great picture quality and colors. The only issue is when you select HDR the screen colors seem to be washed out.

Very good monitor -- Even better service
Very good monitor -- Even better service to back it. After about 9 months of heavy use I began to see some light bleeding at the corners. One call to Dell support and they shipped a new replacement to me. Quick, easy, painless - Awesome service. The monitor sits next to a 27 inch iMac 4K and you cannot tell the difference -- perfect color reproduction. Very sharp.

Great monitor, a bit slow to turn on
I'm pretty happy with the monitor, though i haven't really put it through its paces (i haven't tried gaming and i haven't measured its color fidelity). So far] my only complaints is that its slow (15 sec?) to display an image when my laptop first wakes up.
Its worth noting that pixel pitch (pixels per inch) is significantly higher than the slightly smaller (physically) 2560 x 1440 monitors i am also using, which is a bit of a problem when i move my Linux laptop between the two -- i have to resize the windows and change the font size, etc. But that's only an issue if you're moving between monitors with different pixels per inch ...

Dell 27" 4K Monitor is Great! Buy One!
Sharp, clear, reliable 27" monitor. My PC viewing never looked so great. The 4K is clearly superior. Even if you only use MS Office and Internet browsing you will LOVE it. In fact I upgraded my PC glasses so I could enjoy this great monitor. Buy one. Believe me you will love it.

Great Image but UI and source control -meh
The image on these monitors is very good, crisp, deep, and colorful. Spectacular! But I use the monitors on multiple sources and the source control is flaky and inconvenient. If you select a specific source (choices are DP, mDP, or HDMI then at some point in the middle of work the other source turns on it will usually switch to the other source when Auto is on and the initial source was still engaged. Auto is not the finest function when multiple sources are active. This then makes you painfully aware of the UI where the sequence of button pushes to select the source involves multiple different button pushes through a UI to get back to the originally selected source. I prefer the older more obvious direct button push to access a specific source.

Beautiful screen, easy to use. Images are sharp and clear. The best of the many Dell monitors I've had over the years.

Great for photography use
I use this monitor for my photography work. The HD and 4K quality allows me to see details in my work, making my editing ( of photos and video) easier. There is no question that using this monitor in my photography has raised the level of the final images I produce.

Fantastic resolution + no dead pixels + no problems + great price = Perfect!
(I do wonder why Windows 10 thinks it has speakers when it doesn't, but that might be a Windows thing.)

Almost A Wonderful Monitor
A very good monitor. Clear, stable screen image. Keeps pace with a very fast computer processor. Satisfactory color palate. Easy to adjust screen image--with one exception: standard black text often is washed out because of the screen's white brightness. Haven't been able to correct despite several attempts to do so.

I will not be buying Dell products anymore.
It does not work. Dell customer support did not help, offering only "you have a configuration problem".

Not reliable.
We have purchased somewhere around 120 of these and have had about 10% fail within 2 years. It starts as a green discoloration around the sides that creeps in. Color gets all messed up.

Purchased Four of these, One Dead.
I purchased four of these monitors and while they are amazing, one of them was dead. Not 100 percent dead, it's almost like the SYNC is busted so the monitor has aliasing and flickers.

Great Computer so far
I Purchased this computer about three months ago and it's been amazing. No problems with it yet! I have bought three computers from dell over the past twenty years and every one of them has been great. That's why I keep coming back to Dell.

Dell U2718Q - Avoid at any cost
I bought this "premium" monitor 10 months ago and three of the corner have severe discoloration problem. I learnt that there is a manufacturing problem with sealent used in these panels which lets in moisture causing this problem. Google "Dell U2718Q corner" to read other customers facing same problem.

Great Picture
This monitor displays a beautiful 4K image. It does not look that great with a lower resolution laptop/desktop but if you are planning to use it with a 4K system, you will be happy with what you see. Additionally, being able to use the monitor either in landscape or portrait mode are great features that most other monitors out there do not provide.
