Monitor hookup instruction issue

Hookup sheet had the video cable (dp/mdp reversed. Took me a bit of time to figure that out. It appears these instruction sheets are generic and not updated frequently, or there was simply a diagram error. Color rendition is amazing.

great monotor

This is a great monitor. Solid color reproduction, lots of input and output options. My only complaint about this version of the monitor is that the controls are hidden and a little hard to find. I understand this can make the monitor more clean looking in day to day use I find it hard to change settings quickly. While this may be better for some in my case where I work in a dark area for color accuracy and have several systems connected that I need to switch back and forth between I find it a little frustrating at times compared to the older model of the same monitor that had the controls on the front bezel.

Incredible image!

I've had several generations of Dell 30" 16:10 aspect ratio monitors. This one the 3017 (which replaces a 3011 is BY FAR the best. The brightness, contract, color and SHARPNESS of this monitor have to be seen to be believed. It has a less aggressive anti-reflection than earlier generations, so the fine details are clearer and not blurred by the strong anti-reflection surface coating. (Note: It is a little more prone to showing reflections, so if you have a strong light source behind you, keep that in mind.) Love me some Dell monitors, I have bought more than 10 of various sizes for Home and Office over the last eight years, but this one for me is the King of the hill.
